Concert Square in Liverpool city centre offers a vibrant mix of clubs and bars. It boasts venues for all tastes, including rock, pop, hip-hop and dance. This large range means that there is always a big crowd, especially on Saturday and Sunday nights. While the clubs themselves are enjoyable, there are some downsides. If you plan on a big night out over the weekend, expect high drinks and entry prices for most places. Liverpool is certainly not a cheap night out.

Drinks are very cheap but great quality, and all the staff are so friendly even the bouncers!! The atmosphere is always amazing, never had a bad night there, it's my go to place

Lots of options for clubbing, bars and outside drinking. Good atmosphere any night of the week due to large amounts of students in the city.

All clubs and bars right beside one another it's so easy to get around. Good value for money as normally places are free entry,or five pounds on a busy night. Each clubs has discount nights e.g. level Wednesdays, Brooklyn Mixers Mondays with cheap drink options. Student based area with lots of friendly people.

Venues all around quite good. Mccooleys excellent 2 pound student pints, bouncers can be quite unfriendly at times although. Live music always played in surrounding venues, shisha pipes to smoke with friends. Especially good in the summer for drinking cocktails outdoors with friends. Food also served at 25% discount for students with a mccooleys card. Always packed and has a buzzing atmosphere.

I’m from Ireland so moving to Liverpool was the best decision of my life. There’s so many Irish over here already so it just feels like a home from home for me. Concert square is amazing especially sitting outside during the day when the weather is nice. The drinks are good value especially modo as it’s 241 cocktails and cheap pitchers, the music is good and the vibes are just overall great. It’s good for meeting other students and new people as it’s always busy and everyone just chats to one another. Overall amazing city and the night life feels like you’re on holidays haha

Atmosphere is amazing, especially when there’s some sun! Everyone’s super friendly and it’s surrounded by McCoolys, Soho and Modo which are great for a boogie providing all kinds of music. Soho does cocktails 2 for £6 or a whole jug for £12. Everything’s really good value for money.

Concert square is in the perfect location, right in the centre of Liverpool. McCooleys is good for student deals - as long as you have their student card! Modo and soho are not very student-friendly. There is always music playing from all these 3 surrounding venues, which is a little annoying as it clashes of you are seated. The atmosphere in concert square is always brilliant; a real party/night out vibe under the heated and parasol-covered seating area. There is also the option to buy a shisha which is good which is also value for money at £6.

The drinks are really cheap and overall it's good value for money. You don't need to pay to get in which is an added bonus. They're super friendly to students as it's a really popular area for students to head to on a night out. Good atmosphere with popular music.

Concert Square is the central hub for the nightlife in Liverpool! It provides access to all the nearby pubs, bars and clubs on all the surrounding streets. For all genres of music, concert square is alive throughout the week and not just on the weekends. In the middle of concert square is the bustling shisha area and is surrounded by open aired bars. The best feature for these bars is the free entry to the majority of these places with cheap drinks. The bars aren’t your typical bars though, they’re mini- clubs with a selection of blaring music. If you don’t like the vibe of one you can hop next door to the other bars on the parade which shows an easy night out wherever you go. For the bigger clubs is a small entry fee. The highlight for most students is the close proximity to not one but three McDonalds! Between each bar is a kebab/pizza/chicken shop to settle these midnight cravings. I’ve been on a good few nights out across the UK but Liverpool has to be the best place no matter what day of the week and no matter your price range.

drinks are cheap, with waited tables so you don’t have to go up to the bar to order. there’s plenty of bars surrounding the area and its always full of students.

Great place to get cheap drinks, £1 shots... im not complaining. Unless you go out on extremely busy nights like halloween or what not, you shoukd encounter queues which i great.

The outdoor beer garden is vibrant, the bar pumping out good feeling music, the whole square is surrounded by pubs and clubs and is in close proximity to the city centre, would recommend for a good night out!

What's so great about it is that it's right in the central hub of everything. You arrive there (not far from the uni), and suddenly you arrive and everyone's there. You see all the people you know or recognise, and more. What I also particularly love is that because everything is so cheap you're not tied down to one place, so my friends and I will normally go to 4/5 clubs in one night. The proximity of everything is great as well, so you can be in one of the loudest clubs one minute, and the next be in a quieter bar the next. I think as well there's a good array of bars/clubs, and everyone there is very sociable.

Liverpool caters for everyone. All club prices and drinks are very reasonable for students and each club has a Student night with discounted drinks or entry. Clubs are always lively no matter what day of the week it is so you don’t have to worry about it ever being dead. Most clubs cater for a wide range of music tastes with many having different rooms or floors.

Lots of places; pretty mainstream but good for first year. Packed with locals at the weekend and is a bit expensive, but fine during the week

Concert square is a square containing seating surrounded by a number of clubs and bars meaning that it is always buzzing. Concert square is popular with students due to the location of being in the centre of town and the cheapness of the bars (many of the clubs/bars are free entry inc mcooleys and soho).

Really good atmosphere, friendly faces, always a good night out! Would recommend to anyone of all ages, even good during the day
