Concert square is the epitome of the 'student night': cheap drinks and about 40 clubs right next to the main highstreet

Lot's of bars and clubs in one area, all with a different student night throughout the week. Lots of different vibes. Some bars/clubs a little overpriced, but always worth it.

Great place to start off a night out. Concert square is surrounded by bars and clubs that suit all tastes for a night out, great for hopping from one club to the next. Drinks are not too expensive.

Literally something for everyone in concert square. Deffo the place to be for all big events, especially in the summer - sitting outside with your cocktails - beautiful!

Concert Square has a reputation as a party destination, it's a square packed with pubs, bars and restaurants including the likes of The Lime Kiln Pub, The Crafty Chandler Pub,Soho,Coyote Ugly and McCooley's ,even the streets leading into the square are packed with bars, with the closing down of Walkabout Bar in December a new German style bierhall and beer garden is in the process of being built on the premises vacated by Walkabout Bar and I eagerly look forward to visiting this bierhall when it opens. Concert Square will not be to everyone's taste,it's the destination for every stag and hen party that hits Liverpool and come the weekend gets seriously busy . I love to visit here of an evening and just sit outside with a cold beer and just chill out. A great square and well worth a visit.

Always such a lively venue at any time during the day with lots of different options of clubs/bars, and all with free entry so you can walk in and out of different ones (great for poor students!) I always feel incredibly safe compared to some venues I have been to before, probably because it is always busy. Variety of music options depending on the bar, and very cheap for drinks during week nights!

A great atmosphere especially on a sunny day. Plenty of outdoor seating as well as clubs/bars really close to each other. Mccooleys also serves cheap good food which is even cheaper if you have a student card.

Had one of the best nights in my life! Lots of people, lots of places to go and always free entrance! Definitely a place to spend the evening!

Liverpool’s perfect for nights out, loads of different clubs playing different music, doesn’t really matter what you like Liverpool will have it! It’s all really close too so you can walk across the road to a completely different bar

There are multiple venues around concert square with a large (heated) seating area in the middle. Really good place to go with a group of friends any time of day and season. Cheap drinks and good atmosphere, however can become very crowded and the bouncers to some clubs can be unnecessarily rude.

Great variety of clubs! Lots of different music and great places to drink with friends or chill with a Shisha! Can sometimes be overpriced but it’s a City night out!

Best city in the whole world, best atmosphe and welcomes students from anywhere. No where is better to go out then Liverpool.

At times could be considered friendly to students but then at other times can be an area which attracts a lot of violence and negative atmospheres

Concert square is still probably the best place to go out in Liverpool. The atmosphere is amazing, always so lively!! During the day or at night! Lots of cute little bars and there really is something for everyone!

Good value for money, the heart of nightlife for 1st year students, friendly, generic music, very good location in city centre

Concert square in Liverpool is amazing, in particular Mccolleys. It’s an Irish bar which also offers really cheap food and drink during the day and great quizzes on Mondays. It has been my go to place for two years and I will continue going to it this year and even when uni has ended. I have had some of my favourite nights out there.

Excellent night had in concert square, with mcooleys, soho and more it's the centre for any self respecting students in Liverpool.

Concert square is the best place to start your night out in Liverpool. There's a massive outdoor seating space with a wetherspoons, walkabout and mccooleys so drinks are super cheap! It's always busy on Friday and Saturday nights so you're sure to meet some interesting characters!

Good place to start on a night out, can go for a Wetherspoons (lime kiln) to begin with a d then you have mcooleys if you want to play pool or many other night clubs such as level or baa bar are really close!

Reviewing baa bar which is in concert square. The venue is free entry which is also a 10 out of 10, the variety of shots and drinks is quality for a pretty affordable price I mean I can take 15 quid in here and that'll do me for the night and that's a splash for me. The music ranges from tech, house and classic rave with my personal preference being tech on the Fridays usually. One of my go to bars in Liverpool with friends and usually most nights start and end there. Would suggest it to anyone in liverpool
