Came here with a group of friends last month, really enjoyed our night. Busy, upbeat atmosphere and plenty of choice

Amazing atmosphere as it's always bustling with lots of people. While the crowd is mainly young students, there is still a large a range of ages as it's a great place for large group of hen and stag do's. Wide range of clubs to go in, although the music is all very similar.

I really love concert square. The atmosphere is amazing and the people you meet are so so friendly. I love the fact that the seating area is heated, perfect for those late night, winter nights out! The variety of music from the clubs around concert square is great. You can be in a club playing old school R&B music and then pop next door for some techno. A club for every type of music taste really. Most of the places have really friendly staff, although on a few occasions there have been some that haven't been just so nice but that is really rare. I like the fact that the drinks are cheap enough. It is a proper student night out to say the least. £20 could definitely get you a good night out and if it doesn't, you're doing it wrong. I think, personally, my favourite bar is Mccooleys. I think it is because it is always filled with such a great vibe, students and is just a cheap night out. You've got a pool table, dj, some nights live music and not one, but two bars!! What more could you want?

The atmosphere in concert square is lovely, always have a good night out with my uni mates. Quite good value for money and close to station and places to call a taxi.

Overall it is a very lively atmosphere with many bars around. All with different genres of music and a different feel altogether. My fav would be mccooleys.

Everything about the place is good like 6 clubs within a 2 minute walk of each other cheap drinks and open til 6 in the morning, I mean what else do you wanna ask for, all the staff know the score and always are very friendly. The shisha as well is quite cheap so if you have a group of 6 or 7 mates you can rock up and enjoy the sunshine.

Great value for money during the week on student nights, very lively and there’s not a quiet night in the week! Lots of great places to eat during the day too and there are lots of high end clubs and just general clubs with a student night every weekday. Including a big event every Friday at Medical in the Arts Club.

Few decent bars in concert square. Good atmosphere and good value drinks. Worth a trip there whilst out in Liverpool.

Lot's of bars and clubs in one area, all with a different student night throughout the week. Lots of different vibes. Some bars/clubs a little overpriced, but always worth it.

Great place to start off a night out. Concert square is surrounded by bars and clubs that suit all tastes for a night out, great for hopping from one club to the next. Drinks are not too expensive.

Had one of the best nights in my life! Lots of people, lots of places to go and always free entrance! Definitely a place to spend the evening!

There are multiple venues around concert square with a large (heated) seating area in the middle. Really good place to go with a group of friends any time of day and season. Cheap drinks and good atmosphere, however can become very crowded and the bouncers to some clubs can be unnecessarily rude.

Great variety of clubs! Lots of different music and great places to drink with friends or chill with a Shisha! Can sometimes be overpriced but it’s a City night out!

Good value for money, the heart of nightlife for 1st year students, friendly, generic music, very good location in city centre

Excellent night had in concert square, with mcooleys, soho and more it's the centre for any self respecting students in Liverpool.

Concert square is the best place to start your night out in Liverpool. There's a massive outdoor seating space with a wetherspoons, walkabout and mccooleys so drinks are super cheap! It's always busy on Friday and Saturday nights so you're sure to meet some interesting characters!

Good place to start on a night out, can go for a Wetherspoons (lime kiln) to begin with a d then you have mcooleys if you want to play pool or many other night clubs such as level or baa bar are really close!

Concert square is good for student nights out especially freshers week. There is a range of clubs with different genres of music, plenty student events throughout the year. It’s also easy to make new friends the atmosphere is all round friendly.

Concert Square in Liverpool city centre offers a vibrant mix of clubs and bars. It boasts venues for all tastes, including rock, pop, hip-hop and dance. This large range means that there is always a big crowd, especially on Saturday and Sunday nights. While the clubs themselves are enjoyable, there are some downsides. If you plan on a big night out over the weekend, expect high drinks and entry prices for most places. Liverpool is certainly not a cheap night out.

Venues all around quite good. Mccooleys excellent 2 pound student pints, bouncers can be quite unfriendly at times although. Live music always played in surrounding venues, shisha pipes to smoke with friends. Especially good in the summer for drinking cocktails outdoors with friends. Food also served at 25% discount for students with a mccooleys card. Always packed and has a buzzing atmosphere.

drinks are cheap, with waited tables so you don’t have to go up to the bar to order. there’s plenty of bars surrounding the area and its always full of students.

Great place to get cheap drinks, £1 shots... im not complaining. Unless you go out on extremely busy nights like halloween or what not, you shoukd encounter queues which i great.

What's so great about it is that it's right in the central hub of everything. You arrive there (not far from the uni), and suddenly you arrive and everyone's there. You see all the people you know or recognise, and more. What I also particularly love is that because everything is so cheap you're not tied down to one place, so my friends and I will normally go to 4/5 clubs in one night. The proximity of everything is great as well, so you can be in one of the loudest clubs one minute, and the next be in a quieter bar the next. I think as well there's a good array of bars/clubs, and everyone there is very sociable.
