THE student night out on a Monday night in Liverpool. Cheap bevs, merchandise, pop classics downstairs in the grimy, sticky, sweaty basement that everyone loves known as the Raz.

Not very nice looking but it has a great atmosphere. The drinks and entry are also really cheap. Don't wear anything fancy though as the venue is not very clean and there is a lot of water and drinks on the floor

The grottiest place about. Fat frogs are a must. Music is great. The best night out in Liverpool in my opinion

The raz has really cheap drinks and a really good student atmosphere. Cheesy hits and throwbacks are played as well as chart music. Quite hot and stuffy but part of the whole cheap student night out experience.

it is a great place, amazing on mondays with good value for money drinks and good music on 2 floors

Whether you like drinks named after overweight animals or cheesy 00's music, Blue Angel (The Raz) is the place for you. If you don't like sticky floors and sweaty crowds, give it a miss. If you like both you are golden

There is always great songs on and love it- would be cool if it had other very popular days apart from the classic raz Monday as you end up starting the week hungover- favourite night club in Liverpool though.

Although slightly small, the atmosphere here is amazing. It’s lots of fun and all students love it on a Monday. Your Monday nights will never be the same again!

It’s all you want from a cheap night out, hands down the best student night in Liverpool. £1.50 entry £1 pints and £2 for the signature “cocktail” the fat frog. If you’re looking for a place to go and sip posh drinks and shuffle about in heels the raz is not the place for you, it’s a dirty grimey basement where shit trainers are recommended as your brand new sparkling white Air Force ones will come out looking like you’ve just spent 4 days skidding through puddles at Glastonbury. 10/10 cheap night full of indie and hip hop sing along classics.

This is the best place to go for a funny night out, don’t be out of by the interior, always a good night go after other bars first it has singalong tunes for when your pissed. 2.80 double gin 1 pound raz bombs xo

If you want a cheap, somewhat grimey night out "the Raz" is the place for students on a Monday. Raz Bombs (a knockoff jaegerbomb) cost only a quid and the Fat Frog is a strong fan favourite consisting of 3 different bottles of WKD mixed to a toxic green in 2 of the plastic pint cups.

Rather grotty and sweaty but has high ceilings to counter act this. The music is great, the engery is great and the drains are ridiculously cheap! Always a good night out. Reliably fun

Really good vibe in this club, I would definitely recommend if you're into the big old school classic throwback anthems, especially the 2000s which are played a lot as well as Sclub7. I would recommend this bar to everyone especially medical students as the place is crawling with them and the best night to go would be on a Monday because it's the busiest day but make sure you get there early because the queue goes down to the end of the street. It's a great place with great atmosphere and cheap drinks but be sure not to wear your best shoes, the place needs a good wipe on the floor and it has a slanted gradient so make sure you don't get stuck in all the garb at the bottom of the slant.

Place for freshers to pull on a Monday night and for hockey to go on a Saturday night. Ultimately, mad cheap and a lot of fun but you need to have special 'raz' shoes.

The Raz is a great place to go to if you want a cheap easy night. It’s £1.50 in and you can spend a tenner in there and be drunk on the raz bombs (£1 each). You can request any song in there but don’t wear nice or white shoes as it’s quite cramped and gets hot very quickly.

The Blue Angel also known as the Raz is the place to be on a Monday night! Get down and dirty to the sick music and cheap drinks! And to top the night off but a raz cap on your way out to prove you’ve been and survived! The music is pop vibe and the drinks are cheap as anything! If you go the raz you gotta get the fat frog! Best £5 spent!! Whatever you do don’t wear white! Avoid the lines by going early getting your stamp and then hitting other bars in town before coming back to finish your night off in the best way possible.... who doesn’t love a dirty raz Monday!

Terrible atmosphere, it smelled like a dog’s kennel. Bar staff weren’t helpful and drinks prices weren’t anything special.

Cheap, gross, but good night out:) Would recommend Raz Mondays as it’s crap any other night. Music is alright and overall good night for students. Drinks are cheap. Queue generally not too bad.

No frills, cheap drinks, it’s very own gift shop, messed up toilets. It does the job for a night. Not exactly a classy place to go, but who cares.

Messy night out but always a good laugh. Cheesy tunes that you cant help but sing and dance too, in need of a good night then go here.

gotta love the raz. Incredibly cheap drinksThe Raz is the type of place you can have a good dance and enjoy a few drinks, granted you have a few hours and reasonable number of friends. What I'm trying to say is that The Raz isn't the kind of club you spend your entire night in, if you're planning to stay out more than a few hours. Luckily for you, The Raz isn't far from the heart of the Liverpool student club scene, the likes of The Krazyhouse, Popworld and Baa Bar being less than a ten minute, drunken walk away. In essence, The Raz works as a great starter club or even just a nice play to enjoy a few drinks with friends as well as a guilt-ridden dance. The guilt-ridden dance, of course, is optional. so in all honesty go the raz you wont regret it.

Blue angel hosts monday seshs and it’s called the RAZ on Monday’s. Very cheap drinks and nice atmosphere. A bit packed but that’s what makes it amazing. The music is great and the staff is great. Everyone loves to buy RAZ hats and other merch. Entry fee is very low so it’s great. Overall very fun and cheap night out.

The Raz is a wonderful institution hosted by the lovely Val! The damp muggy air is the perfect catalyst for those students looking to find a long term life partner. Love it!
