While the accommodation was done up to a high standard, it was significantly over priced. In contrast to the other halls at the University, the price should be brought down in line.

The location is great - it’s on the edge of campus and right next to the library! There’s a variety of rooms to choose from, from self-catered to catered and en suite or shared bathroom so Vine Court is great for everyone. The social experience is good with the halls arranging activities for the whole of Vine Court so it is great to get to know lots of people. The rooms are quite big with nice furniture and lots of space to put your belongings. Overall vine Court is a great halls to live in.

The best aspect of Vine Court is the location and the rooms. Takes less than 10mins to walk to lectures and is right in front of one of the libraries. En suite is good with a heated towel rail and bed is huge. Would not recommend getting catered, food quality is not worth the price payed.

Location is perfect for both town and the university! Staff are always on hand to help with any needs that you may have! Would recommend

Vine is a great place to be in terms of position, with regards to the university buildings and also the town- you never have to taxi an expensive taxi home after a night out. Personally, I am catered and the food it not too bad, however some days it can be awful so it has its ups and downs. Unfortunately my flat isn’t particularly sociable- having a lot of foreign people that barely leave their room I feel this is probably representative of vine as a whole but it has its exceptions. Another downside would be the price, more than £7000 a year... other non UoL accommodation can be £4000 a year non catered, often I wished I had gone for that option but hindsight is a wonderful thing. Overall however the accommodation had been of great quality and I have made some great friends- it’s location really is great.

My room is spacious and clean, however I hate having a shower curtain instead of a screen. I hate the purple plastic covered sofa and the lack of a high-up table to eat in the kitchen area, the fridge and freezer is way too small too and there’s not much cupboard space. Vine court is way too expensive for what it offers.

Room and facilities in the premeier rooms are very comfortable and the ensuites are fine. The location is great for nightlife and uni, however there are not many big shops very near by. Catered food I found was awful and not very nutritious or nice tasting- not much choice for vegetarians and way too expensive for what it was. I hardly ate it after the first semester so don’t go catered!

Accomodation was okay. Catered food is sometimes off. Food is quite balanced in nutrition.

Comfy beds, and nice kitchens, however go self catered, food is on the scale between a hospital breakfast and school dinners. Great amenities nearby.

Really poor and very rude staff, especially the Security staff. Frequently unhelpful and slow. Food is very poor, especially at weekends. Only positives are the location and the friends I have met. Massively overpriced.

The rooms are a very good size and staff in the residence are all very friendly. The location is perfect as it's on campus and also a 5-10 minute walk from the city center. The only downside is that because all doors are key-card controlled you only really socialise with student in your flat rather than the whole residence. It is expensive but worth it for your first year at university.

Yeah it is pretty good here. The food has gotten a lot better compared to before Christmas. Really loving the social aspect of vine court, think it a gotten better.

Good central location as on campus. Average food; all rooms were catered and so therefore rarely had the money and time to be cooking own meals. Rooms are nice, especially that they are en suite which is good for personal hygiene. Heating automated despite thermostat in the room which often led to room being too cold or too hot. A lot of Asian residents who don't socialise outside of their own group; not a problem to me but could be for a lot of people. Near to tescos and other shops which is a plus. As well as town centre.

Poor washing facilities, but everything else is good. Small kitchen, but not as vital as catered however other catered flats seem to have larger kitchens and ours is a squeeze given there are 16 people in our flat.

Good location, washing machines have just been improved. good size rooms! Staff at reception are great and always willing to help.

Great amenities however quite antisocial. The room sizes were great. I chose an en suite which was preferable to communal bathrooms which I've been told were very grim. The catered options were good however got repetitive over the next few months.

Satisfactory. It's close to the architecture studio I work in daily, as well as the convenience of chinese stores nearby for your asian food needs.

Vine court is the best hall s of residence, it has the best location being 1 minute away from a lot of my lectures, also being carted for and not having to cook is the best thing with Tesco KFC and subway right below. The social experience is amazing loads of flats near eachother always a party on no matter the day

The room had an en suite with a double bed, all of which were of a high standard. The shared area with the kitchen was well equipped with two fridges for 7 of us. However the sofas were ridiculously hard with absolutely no give in them whatsoever, and not big enough for 7 of us. Also the table to eat at could only fit 4 at a time so we could never all sit at the table together. The security were amazing and the staff behind the desk were always really helpful.

Very good but very expensive. Not particularly social due to needing a key to access each corridor. I didn't go catered, the kitchen facilities were very good as were bathrooms. Only problem was shower head wasnt adjustable and was too short for anyone of my height (6'3)

The catered food is sometimes look like left over from yesterday. Common area is nice. Room is clean. Location is good.
