Crown Place

Modern exterior and interior Large rooms for a cheaper price than the other halls at the university Quite social as flats often have pre drinks Fifteen minute walk to town and practically on campus

Crown place is by far the cheapest on campus acccomodation, it is very central to everything. It is about 20 minutes walk from the city centre. The staff on reception were always friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious, I would definitely recommend a double room (but it is only a 3/4 bed, not a double) but it is still better than a single bed.

Facilities are amazing, room size is great aswell as location. Not the best social experience due to very randomised flat allocation

Very modern and clean but occasionally a bit noisy being so close to town. Nice sized kitchens and handy that it comes with all appliances. The rooms are nice and spacious with plenty of storage space

Internet is awful. Rooms are tiny. Lift ALWAYS breaks in our block and I’m too lazy to walk up the stairs. But our flat get along and we have amazing house parties :)

Great rooms, definitely the best the uni had to offer. Staff are all lovely and make living there a luxury. Would highly recommend to others to stay there

Very good location in campus, just a 5-10 minute walk to lectures. Good rooms with decent facilities available. Just make sure to bring a fan because it gets VERY warm in the blocks.

The location of crown place is perfect, I'm never more than a 5 Minute walk from my lectures. I live in a studio room on a normal corridor so I get the best of both living independently (having own kitchen) as well being able to access my corridors community space to socialise. Facilites are in working order most of the time (those damn washing machines keep stealing my money!) But overall an amazing experience.

Crown place has been amazing so far! It's in a perfect location, never more than 5 minutes away from any Lectures. I've made some great friends with my flat mates. And the facilities are great, most of the time (those pesky washing machines keep stealing my money!).

Halls were too expensive, rooms were really nice and clean, although I don't think it should be that expensive to live on campus. Also wifi wasn't great.

Very sociable place. Made lots of new friends and the staff is nice too. The distance to uni is less than 5 minutes and the main city centre is 15 mins away.

Very modern and clean, the social experience is great. You get to meet lots of new people and enjoy nights out. It’s quiet during exams so there’s not distractions. It’s round the corner from the library and campus

SO WARM. But apart from that was in a flat with such amazing people and amazing location for lectures as well as getting STEAMING and stumbling into town

Beautiful high class Accomodation, would be great if the gates worked better and there wasn’t always some construction going on, other than that it’s in a great location filled with great staff

Clean and tidy, got very warm though. Close to the university which was good for getting to lectures. I didn't particularly like being on the ground floor because I never wanted to open my window during the night, so it was just always very hot. Very expensive in my opinion though

The location of crown is great only 10 mins from town and the buildings are new. Socially it is what you make of it so if you make the effort you'll have a good time but it needs to come from you

The room is perfect, spacious and clean with loads of fun social experiences set up by the residential advisors. I have met loads of new people here as it is very easy to make friends as the halls are set out nicely. Doing this for the free condoms because as I’ve mentioned, I have met a lot of new people ????

I loved Crown Place, I don't think anywhere else that I live will match up to the standard of facilities that they have. Everything is so new and modern. The cleaners visit three times a week and someone is employed to take out your bins. They held regular free events in the common room which I really enjoyed going to. I think the best part for me was being in the centre of campus, it was a real luxury to only have to walk five minutes to my lectures. I do miss living there.

Location was perfect for university and town. The social experience was good but the 11 o’clock noise curfew was too early and poorly policed. The windows need to open more as it gets too hot in the summer but other than that the whole place was great

Great location - central to pretty much everything, even late night trips to the library! Approximately 1000 students living there each year, so very social, but more effort needed to meet people compared with other halls at Liverpool. En-suite bathrooms handy, and staff respond fast to solve any issues you have.

Only 5 minutes from lectures and about 20 minutes from town, reasonably big kitchen and decent living area. Good amount of study space in the rooms. Would recommend.

Big room, nice modern bathroom, good communal area, good facilities, close to campus, cleaners not particularly helpful

Really enjoyed, made some great friends, facilities nice, walls were orange and I like the colour orange, people did complain about the orange walls but I was fine with it, maybe blue walls would’ve been nicer, but it beats plain white walls I guess, also my favourite fruit is Terrys Chocolate Orange

Crown place is in a great location, close to lecture theaters and a 10 minute walk into town. The rooms have all you need and have a nice kitchen area. It is extremely expensive compared to the rest of student housing in Liverpool and doesn't give you anything else different to a cheaper accommodation.
