Albert court is in a great location, opposite a Dominos, 30 seconds walk from a Greggs, Subway, Tesco Extra and a Lidl. 17 minutes walk to concert square (student centre) which is fine. It just lacks in having a good environment. It’s a very boring place to live, not much is ever going on. With regards to rooms, my bed wasn’t the comfiest, the shower also wasn’t very good but it was average. I think there are better accommodations for the price.

Overall the halls were generally clean, the staff including reception staff were extremely polite and helpful especially when dealing with maintenance issues. I especially took advantage and thoroughly enjoyed the events such as killer pool and pub quizzes.

Decent sized room and very spacious kitchen. Only major issue I have is with the bathroom size. Can barley move in the bathroom as it is when showering. Free access to a small gym and a social area at the front. Also near the city centre and stores like Lidl and Tesco are all nearby. WiFi could be improved

Friendly staff, really helpful! Access to pool and gym which was a good bonus. Social experience was great, was living with people just like me. Room was spacious and had ensuite

Great people and staff with us making full use of the events such as quiz night and killer pool competitions making meeting people and socialising a great experience, the rooms could have been tidier upon checking in with their being several issues with my drains and carpet but was sorted after mentioning it to staff

This halls was around a 20 minute walk from my university building and house basic facilities. It did however come with free access to an on site gym which was a bonus. The staff were very accommodating and a pleasure to be around. Would definitely recommend to any prospective student.

I loved staying in halls, not because the halls were good but because of the people. The rooms are over priced, you're about a 20 minute walk from Byrom Street Campus, the beds are uncomfortable. Just needs a good make over to make slightly more modern

For Freshers the location is amazing really central, but it's very expensive especially considering how old the building is, alot of the rooms could really do with some renovation
