Leeds is a fantastic city to be a student in. No matter what time or day of the week there's always something to do. Be it a nice meal in the city centre or a crazy night out in one of the city's fantastic venues, Leeds has it all. You're incredibly well connected here too with Manchester, Sheffield and Liverpool all under 2 hours away.

Before living in Leeds, I'd visisted the city many times and already have a general liking of it. However, since coming to uni, I know cannot imagine living anywhere else. Leeds has become one of my favourite place; everyone is so friendly, the vibe is so relaxed, and above all the music scene is amazing. As a music fan, there are a multiple gigs on every night to suit whichever genre you prefer, Amazing and unique venues scattered across the city, and an abundance of bands coming into Leeds, whether big or small.

Leeds have a lot of Pubs, so there are always popular among students of university. The food and shopping are also nice, we can enjoy so many kinds of dishes and brand of fashion. The most importance is about money, Leeds is cheaper than london for everything! So nice city I think.

There's so much to do in Leeds, living at the broadcasting tower in Leeds, I have very easy access to university as there are frequent buses, I'm able to do my weekly shopping with nearby food stores and also I'm able to get myself to trinity shopping centre, it gives the best shopping experience as there is a huge variety of shops you can visit. Minutes away from the shopping centre is the train station so anyone coming from a different town or city, Leeds is very accessible.

Overall leeds is very small. As someone who's grown up in a big city, Leeds is pretty boring. EVerything closes early including restaurants, clubs, cinemas, you name it. I wouldn't recommend leeds to anyone that is not living on a tight budget as that is the only thing it is good for. Yes the u oversight of leeds is a great place to study but you need to balance out what your priorities are before deciding to come to this little city.

Leeds is the best place to go to university. Everything is great.. location is very easy, trains are cheap. Easy to walk around the town centre with everything you need or want and short walk from the universities! Living locations are great and very student friendly and buses are cheap with student cards to and from university. Nightife is also great, different nights or events every night of the week and bars or clubs for every type of taste!

I would rate the city of Leeds an amazing 5/5 stars. As a student, I have been living here over the past few months and I always feel so privileged and lucky to live in such a beautiful, busy City. There is always something to do- whether that is going out for breakfast, lunch, tea, desserts, bowling, the cinema, shopping, junkyard golf, the museum, art centres and so much more. Specifically at this time I find the Christmas markets a brilliant investment as everyone is always happy and the ambiounce is uplifting!

Leeds is by far a city I love having grown up here! We have amazing food stalls and restaurants (and the besttttt German Market at Christmas time), with the trinity kitchen being an absolute GO TO. If you want a cheap night out then 100% go to Lloyds and Fibre (I've done a night on less than £30 many times - and that's including taxis). The backrooms good too. And walkabout for throw back music!!! Our shopping is realllyyyy good, although I'll admit it isn't the best in comparison to Manchester, for example, and that's why I haven't given a 5 star rating! You can get a 15 minute bus from the corn exchange to White Rose Shopping Centre and there's a train station 5 minutes away from Trinity Leeds so you can go just about anywhere for VERY cheap prices. We have loads of little vintage stores where you can get good bargains and it's little gems like that that make Leeds - Leeds! Leeds at Christmas time and Summer are the HIGHLIGHTS of the year with things like Gay Pride weekend and Carnival making town VERY lively and enjoyable. There's also roundhay and Hyde parks where you can go for a picnic and a stroll if you need a break from all the madness! I don't see myself leaving Leeds anytime soon!

A really friendly city where everything is close by. Trinity is a lovely shopping centre with a large variety of main stream shops and a food court with extremely affordable prices. The brand new John Lewis centre contains more high street shops and brands and is in a beautiful building. Eating out is nice with a large variety of cheaper to much more expensive restaurants. There are numerous bars, including several Wetherspoons, and Call Lane provided more upmarket bars. The nightlife is very good, with lots of easily accessible clubs dotted about the city. There are lots of things to do, such as a cinema in Trinity, Junkyard Golf in the Light and the German market which is in the city centre during Christmas. The transport is very good, with the train station located in th centre of the city and numerous bus routes going in and out of the city.

Leeds City centre is wonderful. So many places to drink and eat, with no shortage of entertainment. Even better than that is the shopping experience with trinity and white rose just outside of the city centre.

Amazing city with so much to do, shops, eateries, bars, and places to visit for everyone. Very student suited and very safe. Always lively and buzzing with people even in the rain but never too busy. Such lovely places you wouldn't even imagine to be in a big working city such as roundhay park and belgrave music hall and canteen to mention two. Would recommend to anyone, now I'm here I'd love to stay and work here once I graduate.

Great city. Lots of nightlife, good selection of live music. Food restaurants are amazing in variety and very very affordable. Also frequently events going on in the city centre to keep you entertained. Multiple shopping centres all within 15 minutes of each other, plus more quirky areas like Leeds Market! Adore living here and intend to stay here for a very long time having originally come from the south!
