Bars and clubs within Leeds are really good, sometimes busy. But there is a wide variety, something for everyone. The trinity centre has clothing shops, technology and gadget shops, and even a cinema, meaning there is something for everybody. With food restaurants dotted all over Leeds, making it almost impossible to not find something you'd enjoy. The transport in and around Leeds can be a slight problem, do to the city always been relatively busy. I would always allow plenty of time to travel. There is always good connection links, train, bus and even a nearby airport. Overall Leeds is an upcoming, exciting city.

Leeds is an amazing city! Full of food, fun and friends, it's so easy to get around, meet people and try new things. The city is a good balance between busy and quiet, with an amazing night life and lovely bars to all types of cuisines with varying price ranges and offers something for everyone. As a student, it's perfect with Good value Uber's available in an instant to good public transport links, you can always be sure to find and get to your destination. One thing I love about Leeds is how diverse and colourful it is! Even though there are loads of different academic institutions they can find a way to collaborate or be inclusive and create a safe space for everyone, bring together and introduce new interests and opportunities. Overall, Leeds is a perfect place for any student and you're bound to have an amazing time no matter what you do!

Leeds is an amazing city full of character, loads to do, great night life and even better shopping. It's a city that has something for everyone. In terms of the fashion scene, from thrifting to designer fashion leeds has shopping for everyone. Leeds nightlife also has an array of clubs varying in every genre of music, there truly is something for everyone. I studied at the Art Univeristy, which is full of diversity and outstanding university courses. I'm sure this is the same throughout the other education institutions. Everyone in leeds is so friendly and I honestly couldn't pick a better city to have gone to uni at.

Leeds has to be the best night out. Plenty of varieties of bars, clubs and food places. Lots of shopping centres to visit, trinity, St. John's centre..

Leeds is one of the most fun filled cities, especially for students. There is loads of things to do from nights out to more relaxed activities (bowling, cinema, etc). The variety of different clubs and bars is outstanding, with the quality of food all over the city on a par. The large shopping centre, trinity, offers almost every popular clothing shop even some technology and gadget stores. The only thing that I wouldn't rely on is transport, with the centre and surrounds being so busy it can be difficult for transport, specially buses, to stay on time. I would always allow longer than anticipated for travelling in and around Leeds.

Leeds is great, not too big so everyone knows each other and not too small so there is something going on every day, great community. So many restaurants and bars to choose from with a massive variety.

Leeds is absolutely great for a night out, with clubs like bierkeller, pryzm and space that have loads of different themed nights. It also has a wide range of places to eat with completely different cuisines, Thai, Chinese, Italian for example. With everything a walking distance from the train station makes getting anywhere an easy task

Nice atmosphere with a variety of shops to fulfill your needs. During Christmas times seasonal markets such as the German market is put on show for people to come and get into the Christmas vibe. Overall rate the city.

Leeds is a great city with lots of thints to do. Vue cinema is only £5 so it's affordable for students so it's good to be able to go see a film which isn't too pricey. There's lots of amazing restaurants which I go to frequently using student deals which I enjoy.

Leeds is massively cultural, with hundreds of restaurants in the trinity kitchen which represent the flavours of America, Asia and Europe you'll have everything to choose from. Nights out are amazing in leeds with many nightclubs, wine bars and gay bars there's something for everyone

Loads of great places to eat and drink out and always something going on. However nights out tend to be either student based or local based and transport after 10pm is limited so you have to get Uber's everywhere which can be expensive if traveling alone. The city centre has shops for everyone but that's all it tends to have and not much else in the way of entertainment.

Leeds is the excitement and adventure of a large city but in a much more intimate space. Due to its size, traveling around leeds is quick easy and cost efficient, and it's streets are packed with cheap clothing stores and good food. Leeds has a great nightlife, lots of clubs to chose from and the best of wet yorkshire's underground music scene. Also an important note is that yorkshire is (scientifically proven to be) the best place on earth, the purest air & greenest grass and best teabags far and wide.

Nightlife has plenty of exciting venues and a variety of different music and events. Student budget friendly as there are many student nights with drinks and food deals. Shopping opportunities are great, with student shopping events in centres such as the Trinity with discounts and freebies.

Lots of convinent food places of every cuisine throughout the whole city. Not to mention the nightlife which competes as one of the best night-outs in the UK. Leeds trinity has every shop you'd ever need, whilst the whole city in general can range from very cheap to expensive making your daily activities extremely capable in the city.

As a student city, Leeds is one of the best. It's big enough that there's always something to do, but just small enough that everything is in walking distance (or a cheap Uber after a night out). Almost all of the shops and restaurants in the city have some form of student deal or discount. There is a huge variety of restaurants and cafes to fit every budget.

With bustling streets and many shopping centres, there are places for everyone. The people are as diverse as the incredible architecture in the city. I study landscape architecture and I've found Leeds to be an inspiring city for an artist.

Leeds is amazing, it has everything for everyone here, such a good variety of restaurants, bars, shops all in the centre of town but then further out too! Night life is second to none, again a range for whatever you're interested in. There's just so much to do and it's such a beautiful city!

I went to uni and sheffield and loved it. Loads of cool bars and restaurants, fairly small city centre so all close together, including clubs so great to hop to and from on a night out! Average shops in city centre but short journey to meadowhall which is huge! Rent is generally pretty cheap from my experience. Close to countryside and peaks for when you want to escape the hustle and bustle.

If you love shopping, eating and drinking Leeds is the place for you. There are endless shopping centres filled with shops, restaurants, clubs, cocktail bars and everything else. But as someone who has lived around the country in different cities, Leeds is the toughest to live in. The streets are always packed at week ends, so much so that people have a habit of simply barging people out the way without any warning. Due to this mentality it can be quite unpleasant to walk around the city and many of the popular lunch spots (e.g. McDonalds) can be packed full of people of all ages screaming over one another. Simply put, Leeds as a City is great, but the overcrowded population ruin it.

Leeds has a lot to offer for students. There's a wide variety of nights out that cater for anyone's tastes and the city is growing. It's very much become a student city but there's a great mix between local people and students in the community, with lots of cheap pubs and a wide array of cuisines around
