I think leeds is an amazing place for students. With the amount of universities and colleges within the city the community really feels welcoming to a young student, especially when moving away from home.

Drugs drugs and more drugs. Never seen sonmahy ket heads in my life. I haven't even left my halls. Couple of my boys having trouble getting it wet. My gay friend best them to it and he's got a smaller pond to fish in.

Quality city if you are considering going to Leeds I wouldn't hesitate. Nights out are some of the best, good venues and events going on everyday of the week.

Leeds as a location has everything you could want as a student! Not only is it a bit exciting city with all the shops and things to do you could possibly need, but it is so well connected! My home town is Liverpool and the route Home is so direct it only takes just over an hour to drive, or for only a fiver you can get the national express which takes just over 2 hours! Value for money here is great so if you’re coming from the south expect a large rose for £3 or less in most Student pubs! There’s a massive selection of nights out too so there’s something for everyone from massive nights out to pub quizzes every night of the week. It’s difficult to be bored in such a big city with so much to do!

I adore living in Leeds. It has the variety of London without the constant bussle of people. The shops are fantastic - you can find literally anything you want, from Poundland to Louis Vuitton. The city itself is very attractive and easy to navigate. The travel links are fantastic, but I’d avoid the city centre at rush hour, as it can take hours to get home!

Moving to Leeds is the best thing I've ever done. The main student area, Hyde Park, is so close to the city centre. The bus links to the rural regions of Leeds, like Ilkley, are so useful - you can do so much in this amazing city. The music scene in Leeds is also one of the best in Britain - especially in the genres of dub and drum and bass.

Great city with always something to do. Nightlife great during the week for students and for all ages on the weekend. Central in the north and being northern has friendly locals. Plenty of shops and restaurants to fill your boots and nice parks to sit in and watch the world go by.

Leeds university is a 15 minute walk into the city centre, which has recently had a huge renovation with a lot of money being invested into the city. The centre has two shopping centres, the view which has a cinema, and so many restaurants to eat such as Frankie and Benny’s, prezzo and Wagamama. The other shopping centre is trinity with all the shops you need like Primark, new look, hollister, Victoria secret, etc. In the centre itself there are loads of places to eat and drink, and so many cocktail bars. There are also numerous clubs like pryzm, mint, and tiger tiger. Nothing is too far away.

Leeds is a fantastic city full of wonderful opportunities-amongst them, historical sites, museums, great shopping centres, and an array of fun pubs, bars, clubs and restaurants- I couldn't have picked a better place to be a student at for the next four years!
