St Marks Residence

All facilities available and real comfortable. Really close to the University too, but the walls are very thin and noise from the kitchen can be heard from the last room in the hall. So you can't relax or have a little party with friends. Too many noise complaints. And you have to tread lightly in your bedroom because the sound can be heard by the person staying below you.

It has the best location which is near uni and markets. Bus stand right in the front and a church nearby. The quality and facilities are amazing with a cooperative staff. Value for money

The location of St Mark’s is very good, which is around 10 minutes walk to the university. Though it is not too close to the city Centre, but there are small shops around where students can buy groceries. The facilities are amazing. All bills included, even using wash machines is free too. The room is spacious for a single student, and the furniture is included and quite modern. Our kitchen is very big and open, Thus we enjoy studying in the kitchen too. The social experience is mediocre. The hall exec makes best efforts to hold events, but there are not a lot of people who attend it. But overall I had a wonderful experience at St Mark’s Residence.

St Marks is honestly the best accommodation at Leeds. The rooms are very well equipped, and have an ample amount of storage space. The living room and kitchen is also perfectly sized and quite easy to share with your flat mates. When it comes to the social life at St Marks, it’s soo good that most of the time st Marks residents are very happy staying in st Marks cause we’re not missing out on anything outside. The staff are extremely warm and very helpful. If there’s any issue at your flat they always come to fix it that day itself, in a matter of a couple of hours from the time of the complaint being issued. The common room area is superb since it has everything a University student could want and need. Down to a PS4, Gym and even a Computer room equipped with a printer. I would highly recommend St Marks, because it was definitely one of the main reasons for my amazing experience at the University of Leeds
