Six minutes walk from Montague Burton to Parkinson Building, very convenient. Facilities are fine, if you have any problems the maintenance team respond quite quickly so no worries. Rent below average so quite worthy. Just that the walls are so thin and the doors are very heavy, so easy to be noisy. Down side is the residence team are not active in organizing socials, so basically a good place to sleep at, not a very sociable place if u want to meet new people.

Absolutely loved this accommodation! 5 mins from uni and a short walk to town. Such good value for money and not having an ensuite is absolutely fine was a great bonus having a sink in the room.

The location of Montague Burton is one of the best things about it. It is very close to the university and also a walkable distance into the centre on a night out (or a very cheap uber). The rooms are all decent sized and have the most storage I have seen in university accommodation. They have all been recently refurbished and therefore are quite nice. Also in your room you have a sink which is very convenient. The kitchens are big enough for the amount of people in your flat and also include a separate dinning table and communal area with sofas. The communal area is perfect for pres and makes for a very social accommodation. The accomodation is shared bathroom but I have never found this to be an issue (I've never needed the toilet or shower and someone already been in one of the 3 toilets or 3 showers). Also they are always quite clean as we have cleaners come in once a week. Another plus is that your kitchen bins are taken out for you every weekday.

I would have to say that Montague Burton is 100% the most underrated accommodation that the University of Leeds has to offer. It's just round the corner from uni, about 15 minutes walk from Morrison's and also various nightclubs e.g. Pryzm. If you're in a 9 person flat you have a large social area - my flat uses it quite often before going out or if we're all having a night in together to watch a film (bringing a TV is a good shout). You also have a large bbq area outside that you can rent out which is great in the summer. Rooms are adequate size and vary in dimensions, but all are large enough to not feel like you're living a box. The wifi drops out occasionally but then comes back on within 5 minutes so don't worry about submitting work. Overall, the best value for money accommodation in my humble opinion, you share 3 toilets and 3 showers with 9 people (never a problem either, we have messy and non-messy flatmates too and they're is cleaned regularly). I would genuinely go back into halls next year if it wasn't for the fact that I've had such a nice experience this year that I wouldn't want to ruin it by comparing my experience.

Perfect halls with great bedrooms with lots of space and storage, facilities in flat are really good. But kitchen in the 9 person flat is the same size as a 4 person flat so it sometimes is a little bit of a squeeze. However it's always a friendly environment and it's really good value for money and being a ten minute walk to campus it's perfect.

Great accommodation for the price it comes at. Bins are taken out daily (except for during the weekend) and the toilet and shower are cleaned weekly. You won’t have to pay for laundry as you will have a washing machine and dryer in your kitchen. The kitchen is spacious, as is the living room. Individual’s rooms are also great, with good lighting and a washbasin (which I will miss loads in second year). Only downside is security is a lil too high but it’s fine.

Location was great- it was just down the hill 5 mins away from uni. Was quite run down although I think all buildings got refurbished as I moved out. 5 people to one shower and toilet. Cleaners came once a week.

Really good location close to both the campus and city. Really nice friendly community atmosphere around the halls and a good range of social events planned throughout the year by hall Exec members. Newly renovated to high standard good room sizes. Shared bathroom zero issue and cleaned regularly. I have visited other student halls around Leeds but would definitely say that Montague Burton was the best because of the affordablity and top quality. The kitchen, dining and lounge room is perfect size for any size pres and the mood lighting adds to its magical atmosphere. Only downside is the noise curfew but apparently every halls has just there are very thin walls at Monty B but come exam time you'll be glad :)

Really good location to campus and city centre. Friendly, homely community atmosphere you don't get in other Leeds halls. Newly renovated to very high standard, best kitchen and flat social space if all halls. Halls Exec organised amazing events.

Great location for uni , 5 minute walk away. But very strict hall reps even just when having few beers with friends they tell you off. Had shared bathrooms and a lot of bugs in aswell.

Great location- near uni and pretty close to town centre and shops. Insulation is awful. Walls are paper thin- can hear everything in every room pretty much. Shared bathroom is a bit grim. Sometimes they give out free food/drinks at the office which is great. Wifi was down for a day or so and nobody came until the following day.

Great location 5 mins from front of the university and while there is no common room there is a great outdoor area and refurbished living quarters. The bedrooms while small are nicely refurbished and while it’s not ensuit the showers and toilets are fine, although the showers are not all the same and some are better than others. It’s always warm enough but can sometimes take a while for maintainable problems such as broken windows to be fixed.

- excellent location - one bathroom between 5 which was perfectly fine - no living room but made us more sociable by sitting in each others rooms - room was small no double bed however did not find this a problem great place to live and loved it!!

Facilities were not of the highest standard as they hadn’t been done up in a while. However it was an incredibly sociable residence, it was easy to get to know people. The outdoor area was fun and a good place to pre drink etc. It was also incredibly close to uni so you could roll out of bed as late as you wanted. Overall I loved the residence and would choose it again if given the chance.

Had a refurbished room which was nice, cleaners kept area clean and everything worked or was fixed promptly

Nice and cheap -109 pppw Great to have an in flat tumble dryer and washing machine. Recently done up- very nicely too. Plus it's only five minutes from uni- it's over the road from the parkinson building.

The refurbished rooms are great but there are only 9 or 4 person flats which is a bit extreme and there's no preference selection for size. The BBQ area is occasionally sociable but apart from that there's a lack of social space and it's a quite halls. There's also an 11pm quiet curfew as it's in a residential area.
