Nice, clean and new accommodation. Good sized room with good en-suite. Bit further out from uni than desired, however, in a nice area with lots to do. Medium sized kitchem with lots of cupboard space, however, no sofas or TV which can disrupt its social aspect. Generally very social with common room and activities often on.

Great facilities, nice rooms, and plenty of students around. The bar is a good place to socialise. However, the halls are a little far from university campus.

Liberty Dock is clean and very modern location. However, there is strict visitation rules that sometimes make you feel like you're living in a prison more than a student accommodation. It provides a bar area and gym on site which is unique and a great asset, however the flats lack a real social area to sit down on a sofa and chill with your new friends (you can only hang out in the kitchen and let's be honest student kitchens are usually a mess). The rooms at liberty dock are really good with en-suite bathrooms in all and they're very clean and modern. Overall what brings this accommodation down the most is location, it's actually quite cute being next to the canal for summer walks. But, kiss goodbye hanging out with your friends who live on the other side of the city. It's the only accommodation that is on the south side of the city and so it can make you feel restricted when your other friends all live so close to each other and can walk to uni together. Especially can be a bit rubbish for nights out when all your friends go home in the other direction. This accommodation practically forces you to get a £200+ bus pass unless you want to walk 45minutes to university every day. It's new and hip, and the rooms are much much nicer than those closer to uni but it's VERY far away.

I love it here at Liberty Dock. My flatmates are great, the rooms are nice and so are the en-suites. There is 24 hour security which is great and all the rooms are individually lockable, the door to the flat auto-locks, each block has its own lock and there is a lock to get onto the site. So it is very secure. It's in a beautiful area - Leeds Dock - and you can get a free water taxi to the train station! It's very social too! There is a common room with a pool table, ping-pong table and a bar. The only bug-bare is that it is a 30-35 minute walk to the university. This doesn't really affect me as I bought a bus pass and the bus runs from right outside the Lib Dock gate to right outside uni! I do believe it is overpriced as we are so far out and we don't have dishwashers/cleaners/binmen. However, I do love it here.

Nice accommodation in a nice area of Leeds. A lot of rooms so easy to make friends, however they are all in seperate blocks which makes it slightly harder. Common room is big and has a bar which is open for events within the halls, and also has TV's, pool tables and ping pong tables. Rooms are a good size, bigger than in most accommodation however the kitchen is definitely too small for 5/6 people. The price of 135 per week in my opinion is too high for the lack of stuff we get, for example no living area or sofas in the flat. Additionally, the University is around a 40 minute walk away, so is quite far to walk for me personally. There is the option of a bus pass which isn't included in the price of the accommodation, however this is also expensive. Liberty Dock is an average accommodation but in my opinion isn't worth the money.

My room is lovely, I have the biggest room in my flat with ensuite and junior double bed. However the social aspect here is awful as there's no sofas or space to chill in the kitchen, everyone seems to just stay in their rooms. As for location it's probably the worst one - 45mins walk from university so we have the extra cost of purchasing a bus pass for £299. It's not value for money as we are paying the same as other halls closer to campus, it was none of our first choices so we just feel unlucky.

It's a really lovely area to live in beside the water however it is really far from a lot of things, if you have friends at closer halls you will probably find that you feel forever away! The social experience you get will depend entirely on you and your flat and how well you integrate when you first get there - going to flat parties in freshers definitely helps. There is a common room which typically always has someone in there even if they are playing pool, table tennis or even watching TV but it comes in super useful for big takeaway nights and revision during exams where your room just isn't doing it. Whilst the rooms aren't as modern as some of the newest accommodation they are still cosy and roomy and you feel safe and at home once you've decorated it how you live - plus there's an en suite which is fab. Considering you are paying as much as someone in Central Village is paying (they are on campus pretty much and it looks like a hotel!) it can sometimes seem quite expensive especially compared to second year homes. Plus when you have to consider the cost of buses to uni each morning it does rack up. I feel it should've been a fair bit cheaper than it was.

Very far from uni but at least close to city centre. Rooms are nice with nice en suite but not very good communal area because just the kitchen and no living space.

The security are very strict on bringing in people that don't belong to the halls of residence and noise. The halls has a bar in the middle which is good. The flats themselves are quite good but there is no lounge to chill just a kitchen. Location is far from uni which at first is annoying but you get used to it and you are closer to town anyway.

Accommodation had relatively nice rooms with an en suit but the location meant it took 40-45 mins to walk to and from uni or you had to spend £250 on a bus pass so although it was the same price as the other halls, it ended up being way more expensive and way more effort.

Accommodation was good as had en suit and relatively nice rooms but cost same as accommodations in city centre and at uni but we either had to walk 40-45 mins to and from uni or spend £250 on a bus pass so it made it way more expensive and more effort.

Overall, i really enjoyed my time at liberty dock & i will miss it. The size of my room was great for me i had enough space to make the room my own, the only thing was that the wardrobe was quite small & could possibly do with refurbishing as it really only had 2 shelves which made putting clothes in it quite difficult & led ti everything becoming quite messy. We also had a lot of issues with water, where the water would come out this mucky grey colour. Not only this, it was quite annoying how each flat doesnt have a sofa/tv as it makes it harder to socialise with the rest of your flat especially at the beggining of the year, Im aware we have a common room to make up for this but no one really used it and i think it could be refurbished with new sofas & pool tables in order to attract more people. The location of liberty dock was also quite annoying as it was a 40 min walk from uni or 20 min bus ride, i tended to get the bus however the bus itself most of the time was running late & on a few occasions just didn’t turn up, which became increasingly frustrating as the year progressed. Despite this, i did enjoy my time at liberty dock & really liked my room/block & have made some great friends while living there.

The location is very bad. 40 minute walk to uni is not ideal. The facilities were okay at best, in comparison to other accommodations. The common room is a nice edition to the accommodation. Washing machines are very bad. The people are wonderful.

The best place to live! Home sweet home . Confortable, cozy and with nature around to take a break. So happy to be able to live here. Near to the river and close to the center but having the quiet and green surroundings.

The only issue with this place is the location, as it is quite far from uni and only one bus that leaves every twenty minutes goes to uni. Apart from that, it is ensuite and a very comfortable. It is near the city center and the royal amoruies. The view from the dock is beautiful and there’s shops you can sit at to do work

Location: 40 minute walk from uni, 20 minutes on the bus (not very reliable) Room: room is nice but paying similar amount to CV which has a more modern room and better location

Good facilities and nice rooms which are of good size although they are too far away from uni. This however does make you socialise with your block more which is a benefit but it means you have to get taxis everywhere for nights out.

Not great. Internet is rubbish, rooms are alright and price isn’t bad. The bar is the best part of the complex. The prices are decent and it’s great it’s so close to my flat.

Location wasn’t excellent but gave students the opportunity to explore the city further.

I stayed here for 2 years. Very enjoyable overall. Bit far from the University, some dislike this but I enjoyed it as it meant I could get shopping in the city on my walk home at the market.

Pretty far from the university campus but quite close to city centre. Room is nice with a good sized en suite.

Amazing social but too far from uni. Would be so much better if they put the price of the bus pass in the rent.
