I lived in Pendle standard accommodation during my first year at Lancaster university (2017-18). All the rooms had been recently refurbished over the summer and were therefore all very new, clean and smart. The room sizes were bigger than expected and had a large desk and many storage spaces to help keep rooms tidy. One issue I would voice is that in the shared bathroom accommodation, there is nowhere to hang your towel in the bathroom to use once you have washed your hands.

Good university halls, large kitchen with adequately sized rooms. Good furniture in room and kitchen, with ample cupboard space in both. Two fridge freezers between eight sharers was ample.

The flat was clean and had everything I needed. The kitchen was a good size for 8 of us and had enough ammenities, as well as lovely big windows to let in a lot of light. My room was a great size and had plenty of storage space and study space. The bed was comfortable and there was a sink and mirror too. The shower rooms and toilets were kept very clean, the only negative was the small amount of mound in one of the shower rooms.

Review for Pendle Posh, not Pendle ghetto which doesn't have en-suite. Firstly, the WiFi is awful - it drops out constantly and signal strength is poor in the kitchen. This problem is compounded by the fact that there is no 3/4G signal on any network. The location, however, is good. It's far enough from the main bits of campus to feel separate and has a shop + bus stop close by. Social experience is great, I've met some amazing people in the block. The rooms are big enough, but the en-suite showers are small and cramped. Not a good shower experience.

Good location near small shop Social life good, great people in the block Room small, but big enough with en-suite WiFi horrendous, always drops out Kitchen good enough, not particularly modern but reasonable Buildings themselves are rather ugly You'll get no 3/4G in Pendle Posh on any network, so poor on that front.

Being on the outskirts of immediate campus (it's not quite as far as Cartmel!), there is a nice distinction between halls and work at the library. The kitchen facilities are excellent as there is ample room on fridge shelves and in the freezer. There is plenty of space on worktops too. Likewise, the bedrooms have plenty of space and comfy - it is easy to make a room homely! The toilets and showers can be a bit poky but they are manageable. The perfect water pressure and heat covers its inadequacies of space! Also, being in Pendle Standard means you are very close to Pendle Rooms meaning your close to a social aspect of college! This can be a nuisance if you're wanting a night in and many people are out but you get that with all colleges within reason. Overall, the halls are high quality and made first year all the better experience!

The rooms have been redone this year meaning they're fantastically new and clean. Cleaners clean shared spaced multiple times during the week. Rooms are spacious and the areas around the accommodation blocks is beautiful

All of the rooms in the standard pendle accommodation were renovated this year giving them a clean and neat finish. The kitchen appliances are provided and while a little dodgy if any breakages occur the college will send someone to fix any damages.
