Lancaster is a lovely city in the north west, it has a charm To it that is comfortable And welcoming. While the nightlife scene is seriously lacking, there are no shortages of pubs and bars around; presently there’s around 62 And many of them are included on the Lancaster ale trail. The crowing jewel of this city is undoubtedly Williamson park. Situated at the top of the city, it provides views Of the bay all the way to the Lake District. There are events that take place in the park all year round And it’s the best spot in town for a picnic. The canal is one of the best features of Lancaster, stretching across the city, and while it may be unsuitable for swimming, it provides an ambiance that is very soothing.

Very little shopping, limited with clothes. Very little selection of restaurants. No real sports center. Not a good variety of clubs
