Best location, cleaners came every week. Only bad thing was the size of the kitchen for the amount of people was not big enough. Aside from this it was fine considering the price

Depending on the block you are put in the rooms can be pretty small and some have a very large people to kitchen ratio, some rooms are nice with decent ratios for shared space - its a little bit of a lottery. It's super close to the campus (which is great for nights out and those days you wake up 5 minutes before a lecture) However theres so many issues with the launderette that seems to be broken 1/3 of the time.

There is only a kitchen for us all to relax in, it would be much better to have a separate room to chill as well as a tv. The rooms are a decent size but the beds are quite small and there isn't a lot of storage in the wardrobes.

Not too shabby I mean they are the worst hall's at Keele but have been perfectly fine so far and not much to complain about

Issues with the amount of storage space in kitchen as 12 people share said kitchen. Heating times could be improved. Double/triple glazing could be installed to minimise heat loss Kitchen size could be bigger Common room would be welcome

Very sociable, fridnly people, have our own washbasin in our rooms, sharing showers and toliets isnt as bad as you think.

In terms of meeting people, this is a good hall to live in but the lack of indoor social space meant that during the cold weather when people would not sit outside it was hard to meet and make friends with people that you didn't already live with. However there was lots of outside social space. Value for money wise was not great as I found in the block I lived in there was different room sizes despite the fact that we all paid the same. There was also not enough space in the kitchen to store food, with 4 fridges between 23 people. Location was good, close to all the social life on campus.

Room was a bit small and prison like but overall a really great place with a massive sense of community between all the students living there. Many scratches and marks were on the walls and broken parts which I am yet to find ou f they will attempt to charge me for

The location of my block Horwood Hall is about 5 minutes from the majority of lectures making student life quite easy. Facilities wise it being a room without a wash basin it is quite bare but it is of course livable and can be made quite homely. In terms of social experience it is really dependent on the people around you I personally do not get on with people in my block but those from nearby are great friends.

I like how close Horwood is to the SU. My room has big window and a wash bin. I don't like how many people I share the kitchen with.

The location is perfect as its not that far from the university campus. The staff always insure of the best quality. Some of the blocks obly have 6 rooms toba flat which means you socialise and make new friends

The size of my room is perfect, there isn’t too many people to share with and it’s pretty easy to make it like home

The room is quite big and the facilities, such as the cupboard and bed are nice and comprehensive. The location is good as it is close to the lecture rooms. The facilities in the kitchen and the bathroom are dirty sometimes. The internet is good as I have never disconnected from it when I was using it.

It is a very good sized room for what it needs to be, has a huge desk and shelves which is great, has a good light above desk which is great for late night work and loads of cupboard space. However, it has a single bed which is awful as it is creaky and you can feel all the springs, and it could definately fit a double sized bed instead. The doors down the corridor are all loud and slam shut, which is annoying as it always wakes me up and they should definately be silent shutting like hotels are. However everyone is nice but there is no communal area to sit in the block which is bad as we have to congregate in the small kitchen. Showers and toilets are fine. Draughty bedroom windows are irritating. But is only a 7 minute walk to lectures so that's great.

Great quality accommodation, spacious rooms, showers always warm. The kitchen is modern and neat, but the best aspect of the halls is the people. I’ve made some great friends.

My room is the perfect size with the wash basin, friendly cleaner although people have been causing a few issues. Socially it’s intimidating, people stay in the kitchen for hours making is uncomfortable when it comes to cooking. The facilities are good though overall. Kitchen essentials we were missing and so that had to be bought too
