Spacious room, big bed, lots of storage space for books and clothes. Bathroom was a bit tiny and not enough for 2 people. Kitchen with the living space was huge and great to socialize with people. The TV wasn't working, and even after repeated calls, they didn't fix it for us. Great location, minutes walk from uni and convenience stores. Easier to get to events happening in uni. The place was always clean. Security was fine.

Enhanced rooms on college lane are expensive and price will only increase as the years go on but you do get what you pay for. Good accommodation, good rooms, good kitchen size.

Lucky enough to have lived in a new building with a very spacious double bedroom. Facilities were perfect and it felt like home

Loved it :-) room is nice and modern and big for uni halls. Close distance to eveything as it’s on campus. Everyone is nice and friendly and it’s very easy to meet new people. Always have a good time at the forum too

Newton court provided a very warm welcome as a first year student with the building being new and modern and all the facilities where up to date and easy to use. The design of the building was appealing and the security was effective. College Lane’s recent renovations have made the campus more student friendly with added area like the common room where student from the hall can engage with each other.

The accommodation on the college lane campus is one of the best in the country. Having visited many other university halls I feel confident saying that the University of Hertfordshire has some of the best facilities going. With modern bedrooms and many different types of accommodation available (such as townhouse, twin room, enhanced room etc), I have never been let down. The 24/7 security is on hand for ever issue possible and if there is a maintenance issue it is usually fixed within a day.

The size of the kitchen is great and the amount of storage in the room is perfect! The toilets were the only negative the showers get blocked really easily and they tend to flood.

Amazing halls, spacious, social setting and clean. Bathrooms are shared between two, which is fine. Rooms are a good size and they're is a desk and cupboards. The kitchen is large, with great common room areas.

Amazing halls, they're spacious, clean (when you first arrive) and they're great for a social environment. Most things are hard-wearing hut occcasionally you do get the odd thing that breaks! This gets sorted out fairly quickly. Bathrooms are shared between two people, which is manageable. There's a whole block full of students and I think it's really great. It has enhanced my experience at Uni.

The accommodation itself is really nice. The kitchen is large enough for a lot of people to cook st once, and we always have enough fridge and freezer space. The bigger beds are ideal, and sharing a bathroom with one other person is perfect. I also got given great housemates and have had a fab experience here.

I pay the townhouse, which is the one without an ensuite but you only share the bathroom with one other so it’s fine. Corner rooms are huge. plenty of space in my room and outside where the halls are. Not long to walk to lectures, and not long to the forum nightclub. Slightly on the expensive side but deffo worth it.

Really modern and I feel really safe with the amount of security around, very sociable layout and rooms are really big! However because they are so new they have some problems due to their quick construction such as quite a lot of settlement cracks by that doesn't really bother me. Also if you aren't used to the super modern look they can feel a bit less homely. Big bonus for me is that you don't get many spiders!! Eduroam is awful though, hard to get good wifi signal on your phone in the rooms

Good but no lift so incredibly hard to move in if you live in top floor and I suggest you don’t bring heavy suitcases because you won’t be able to take them up and same with leaving the accommodation at the end of the year

The town house was nice. The bedroom had lots of storage space (big bonus for girls that have lots of bricka-braca) which was great. The lounge/ kitchen area very nice and spacious, a bit tight for all 12 to be in there at once.

The halls are amazing, very pretty and a decent size desk to put all your nick-nacks on. However, the walls are pretty thin so you can hear your neighbour clearly. But that's the only downfall. Windows are nice and big to let in a good amount of natural light, it's also double glazed so outside noise is not that much in the room.
