Manor Park

They were always quick to respond when there were issues with the accommodation for example if something was broken or missing. We lived in rooms with on suit bathrooms and a shared kitchen between 6. It would have been nice to have a shared communal area which was not a kitchen.

Facilities we OK, but definitely could be refurbished as very old, and a lot accumulated issued. Wardens were horrible, if you want a sociable (especially at night) experience, manor park is not ideal.

Mattress needs changing its lumpy and painful to sleep on. Hoover needs changing as every time I use it it smells of gone off cheese and they won't replace it.

Ideal for any vet students at the uni. Located 2 minutes from lectures, 5 minutes from the gym and 10 minutes from Tescos, what more do you need? Paying £170 a week for a Band E room. Expensive but on par with rest of town, and comes with a double bed and ensuite. No real social areas apart from kitchens, but you can have a good time having pre drinks there before getting a bus into town to hit up the nightlife. WiFi is fantastic, whether for downloading lecture notes or for streaming Netflix. Overall rating 9/10.

Really nice rooms, close to campus and a cafe and reception which is really convenient. 10/10 would recommend.

The rooms at manor park are so nice, really modern and a decent size. There is a launderette, a cafe at reception and a bus stop so it’s easy to get to uni or town if you don’t want to walk. 10/10

Great rooms with loads of space, kitchen is big too. Got the best flatmates ever! Can roll out of bed and go to vet school in minutes!

Rooms are a decent size, the kitchens are very small with very little cupboard space The TVs in the common rooms don’t work and the launderette often overcharges Internet is very slow

Location is 15 to 20 minute walk to Uni, 5 minute walk to Sports Park, 10 minutes to Tesco. Laundrette and restaurant on site. Reception open 8am to 11pm Mon - Fri. Security and Repair Management on site gives a quick response time. First years receive resident mentors to help you settle in over the course of the year. Resident mentors hold events every so often. My room was a single with an ensuite. Plenty of space and you share a kitchen with 6 other people.
