Ideal location - five minutes walk to lectures, ten to Tesco, twenty to town. Rooms are big, kitchen huge! All in good condition. Boiler temperamental but getting more reliable...no lounge/communal space but there is a big kitchen makes it easy to invite friends over and the rooms are pretty well soundproofed. Do get some sounds from late night partygoers on the paths outside. Overall very good, would recommend

Location - located on main campus, within good walking distance of main campus facilities and closest on campus accommodation to the gym and Tesco Facilities - there is no area of relaxation that I have noticed that some universities have, an area that you can chill, relax or study with friends in the confines of your home I think this reduces opportunities for socialising, the halls are quite bland and not very welcoming Social experience - I haven’t been very lucky with my hall, there is only 6 of us which reduced the chance of social interaction, none of us really interact together only in the kitchen it feels quite lonely too Room - I’ve made my room like cosy and Home like , its quite small and narrow

Really enjoyed my year staying in International house. It was very nice to have an en-suite bathroom and a very large communal kitchen that was cleaned every Wednesday. I made friends for life in my flat and am very grateful for that. Only downside is that my room was quite small, as was the single bed - but this wasn't that bad.

I was disappointed with my halls due to the fact I didn’t really get along with my flat mates and the lack of communal space made it feel bare and unhomely. Some other university halls (for example Bournemouth) have a lounge area in there flat, I feel this creates a more social environment. I’m quite close to campus which is good. My room is quite narrow which makes it appear untidy. My kitchen gets cleaned on a Monday which is helpful and my flats mates are generally very tidy. There is a lot of room and space in my kitchen for food and utensils.

Pretty good. We have six people in a flat with enduite and a large kitchen. Not really any social areas though. Rooms are single bed and spacious. Location on campus is excellent a five minute walk from lecture theatres and the library. Fairly expensive but very good service in general.

Due to the ease and comfort of my halls, Im able to host friends and study groups, to which I feel has played a huge part toward the smooth transition into university life
