Exeter is a wonderful location in terms of the amount of green space it has, mixed in with a vibrant city centre which is just a 5 minute walk from they key. It has a wide range of restaurants featuring food from all over the world as well as endless coffee shops for relaxing or studying.

Sometimes you just need to break out of the campus bubble and when those times come you'll find Exeter's location near wild Dartmoor or sandy Exmouth a dream. All of this without being too far off the beaten track, with easy train and road links to Bristol, London and the network beyond.

Exeter is a very fun city with lots to do and see. It's not far from the beach so summer days I spent BBQing surfing or having a dip! Dartmoor is nearby as well, if you are keen to explore the surroundings. The city offers night life - it may be known for being small but means you will always know lots of people when you are out which is nice! There's lots of cafes and shops to keep you busy, comedy shows and the quay is a fun walk or day out.

The University of Exeter's location is great. Most of the accommodation is within a 20 min walk and some are on campus which is very convenient. The location of the university itself is just outside of the city centre, about a 15 min walk which is great for when you can walk home after a night out. The train station is just like 10 mins from campus and the area as a whole is stunning.

Exeter is a really cool city and it is cheap to get to London on the coach. There are lots of good clothes shops and other shops. The uni is close to the town centre (15/20 mins walk).

The town centre has a little bit of everything one would need to have an enjoyable day. There's cafes, shopping centers, and a beautiful cathedral. The shopping options are by far the best thing about the town centre.

The location is great if you’re someone who loves both the city and the countryside. Close enough to both the sea and the moors, as well as having numerous night clubs, shops and restaraunts just a few minutes walk away.

Great and green! The university has the highest tree to student ratio. And with a quick journey down to the beaches (exmiuth, sidmouth and Cornwall) or to the luscious lands called Dartmoor you have loads to look forward to at the weekends or a evening after lectures.

Good transport links by train to Most parts of the UK making getting to university easy. The city of Exeter itself is small and compact so you can walk to most points in the city in less then 30 minutes max and buses do also provide transport to most places too if you do not wish to walk.

Such an incredible city with lots of exiting things to do. Plenty of places to eat out and go for walks, etc. Couldn't ask for a better place to live.

Exeter is the perfect small city. You have the bonus of shops, clubs, bars, pubs with the feel of a town. You're close to the countryside, river and coast so it really is a special part of the country. Everything is relatively cheap with lots to do. The only downside is the number of clubs but they grow on you over the years!
