The rooms and kitchens are very cosy and aesthetically pleasing. I started feeling homey very quickly and easily. The common rooms are lovely and offer a wide range of games, TV entertainment and study area. However, the staff at reception is often very unfriendly and forgetful. I have often received a parcel, which they forgot to notify me about as they were "too busy" (for 5 days). The radiators in the rooms switch themselves off after two hours! Meaning it gets really cold at night. I often have woken up at night because it was too cold. You have a TV in your kitchen but the license you have to pay for yourself. Washing laundry is really expensive. In other students accommodations you get cleaners coming in once a week to clean the communal kitchen, which they do not do here. When moving into the accommodation the kitchen and rooms were pretty dirty. Walls are very thin. Windows are very small and rooms look much bigger on the website than they are in real life. The internet connection is supposed to be free. When logging into these accounts you have to create when using the WiFi, the offer you a different package with faster internet connection. The internet connection offered for free is awful!! It sometimes just completely stops working.. The rent we pay here is the most expensive for student accommodation in Coventry and I was therefore expecting better! Overall I am fairly disappointed!
