Cranagh Village, whilst allowing opportunity to make new friends, was evidently old and in severe need of updating. The heating was not well controlled, my flat was always boiling and unbearable when sleeping, whereas other flats were so cold there was constant condensation on the windows. There was mound growing on the bathroom walls and leakages from the ceiling, which in my case fortunately dropped into my shower tray but others weren’t so lucky. The colour scheme was heinous, and a coat of white paint would make the whole place look a thousand times better. A common room for the whole block would’ve been a nice touch as it was hard to socialise with anyone not living in your flat, and therefore the opportunity for making friends was minimised. Additionally it was extortionate in terms of price, considering how dilapidated the inside was. However, the desk and wardrobe in the rooms are lovely and with a topper added to the mattress, the bed was actually very comfortable.

Great location and experience. Close and local to many shops and very close to the university. Rooms a quite small but come with an unsuite which is very handy.

Constantly cold, very small not worth £109 a week charge. WiFi barely works and constantly crashes, the kitchens are all in need of renovations, cooker is definitely a health and safety hazard to use. Bedrooms are barely 10 foot by 10 foot in size and the mattress is like a plastic air mattress

Location was perfect as it was only two minutes from the main building however the facilities were basic and the flat was often cold.
