University Square

The location of the accommodation was great as it was 5 minute walk to the university, library, shops, public transportation and everything.

The location is absolutely brilliant. The security is really good and I always feel safe in halls. However this year one of the house has become a bnb and I see random non uni students walking in and out. I feel as though this jeoprodises my safety and that of my friends. The washing machines are over priced and really terrible. Reslife is bias to the university students and exclude the east 15 students.

The decor of the building was a decent feature but some of the staff were incredibly rude and spoke to you like a child. They put me with a load of people in the year above me who were clicky as they'd already lived together in that flat the year before and the bed was half the size of a double. The only good thing about the rooms were that they were ensuit so at least we had separate bathrooms. We had a shared kitchen between 8 but no living area. Extremely over priced as it was the same price for a room as you'd pay to live in London!! Money grabbing with the whole thing, even has to pay for washing machines & dryers which were around £3.50 just for a wash! Security 24/7 but you could only collect parcels at certain times. No real out door area apart from some concrete benches, so no grass to sunbathe. All in all most people here have a horrible time at University Square so I would not recommend. Only good thing is location but most student houses to rent are closer.
