A little old and run down but near lecture rooms and decent sized bedrooms/kitchen. You're not allowed any sofas in the kitchen even though it's the only social space which is a shame.
Hardwick halls are situated in a really good area, close to big supermarkets, town and a three min walk from FCH, however it is dated and has some comfort issues such as not having a communal living area
I have given my uni halls three stars based on two reasons: they are not up to date for the price and standard in comparison to other university halls of residence at similar price, and secondly cleaners stole two pieces of my jewellery. I had left the two items in the kitchen so I wasn’t insured unfortunately. However, security was fabulous, any problem was attended to almost immediately (24H) a day and the times I had there were fab. They are just really outdated and simple in function.
Living in halls is a fantastic experience. You get to make new friends and spend time with many people who are so different to you. It is an amazing social experience. Halls is also good as you get to be independent.
lovely dorm mates, really caring support advisers, could do with more storage space in the kitchen due to sharing with 9 people and theres not enough space.
Very spacious rooms and very quiet area surrounding the halls which means I can get good rest, also the cleaning is very good and I feel very safe here.
