I couldn't be in a better place to study Music Production, not only are the facilities amazing, but the area of Bristol is incredible. I have lived here my whole life, but have started to really appreciate the area after starting university. The shopping, food, entertainment, etc, in an around Bristol is tough to challenge, there's something for everyone.

Brilliant City! Great night life, places to eat and places to socialise. It a a busy town with great quirks. You fall in love with Bristol just by being here for a few weeks. Big shopping centre and you can find things easier, transport is also great alongside walking places.

Coming from London, Bristol is a much more friendlier and vibrant city, more environmentally focused public transport is pretty good with bus links pretty much everywhere you look, and cycling is pretty good too. Nights out are amazing here with motion and Lakota. And obviously coming from London, Bristol is much better value for money

The city is very vibrant and always has so much going on. There are so many vegan places to eat which are amazing. There’s amazing street art everywhere and the architecture of the city is beautiful.

Bristol overall is an amazing location for university students. Everything you could possibly need is walking distance, such as the clubs, shops, best bars, and everything else! Bristol in the sunshine is the most amazing place to be. The atmosphere of Bristol on the weekend is so friendly and great.

Bristol is an amazing place to live. There is always so much going on- there are loads of shops, cool cafes, and beautiful parks. And of course, the best nightlife, especially Motion! Although it's a buzzing city there are also relaxing spots to have a picnic in summer and you can pretty much get everywhere by foot or bike which is super handy.

Transport around the city is great, you just need to get to know the links! Nightlife is one of the best with events going on all the time! Bars aren’t too expensive although this is something I feel like the city should work on as a whole.

There's always a decent night out in Bristol. There's so much to do and see that after 21 years I'm still not bored! I decided to go to uni in my hometown because after visiting other unis, I realised there's no place like Bristol! There's so many people to meet and things to do that you never get bored.

Great city, something for everyone, not so big that you would need to take the bus everywhere but big enough to not get bored. Loads of parks, the harbourside is really nice when the weather is good. Overall one of my favourite cities in the UK.

Bristol is a funky, individual place from the amazing graffiti of Banksy to the small independent resturants. There is so much to do and when you think you’ve done it all there is still more to do.

When describing Bristol the main word that comes to mind is ‘chill’. I know - how very millennial of me. But in all honesty Bristol is one of the most easy going cities you can come across. The green spaces, the abundance of cafes, the student atmosphere - even when uni work is getting me down the city never fails to make me at ease. This is all the more clear when (very occasionally) the sun decides to make an appearance, then the harbour is lined with sunbathers and the bars and cafes come alive with a buzzing atmosphere. That’s not to say the nightlife isn’t great though - from gig venues, to pubs, to clubs in warehouses, there’s really something to suit all tastes after dark.

A really maginifent city! It is really green and sun is shining a lot. Doesn't rain most of the time and the architecture is outstanding.

The most creative city I’ve ever seen, art is present everywhere which is perfect for an art degree as inspiration is endless. Nightlife is amazing as well as people go out for the music not just to pull never met anyone who doesn’t love Bristol!

Bristol is amazing, it has an incredible mix of unique districts. I feel as though the city has embraced me with open arms, the locals are so genuine and friendly, and there is a venue/event for just about anything that interests you. Outdoor lovers can enjoy The Downs provide space for any activity (including quidditch), and Leigh Woods and Ashton Court from beyond the Clifton Suspension Bridge, or even take a Bristol ferry trip to a rural riverside cafe. Music fanatics can experience live music every night across Bristol - free every evening at the Canteen!, as well as partake in open jams at a variety of open mic nights. If arts and crafts grab your attention, Banksy and Brunel can fulfill you, or you can take a more active role with knitting clubs at the Bluebird Tea Shop and drink and draw sessions at the Wardrobe Theatre. Ultimately, Bristol has it all... and more!

Bristol is in a perfect location. Only 2.5 hrs to London a stone's throw away from Cardiff, not that you need to go to these places as there is plenty to do! The city has a lively feel but also feels friendly and I have no problem walking around late at night etc. A major plus (which I didn't consider when applying) is that Bristol has an airport which has allowed me to go on holiday several times with my friends. The rent is expensive but you get what you pay for!
