Bristol is a lively city with nice people and just about everything you need. Its not too crowded like london but not boring either! theres a huge nightlife scene because it's a university student city. Theres also shopping and like i said, everything you need. Great restaurants also however, theres a lack of halal restaurants for the muslims here. Bristol is hilly, so its good exercise as well!

Decent clubs, can be a glam or dressed down night. Loads of shopping and plenty of restaurants, pubs and bars too. Easy access transport, always something to do.

Bristol is a good city. People are friendly and always willing to help. City is clean and green . The parks are amazing and perfect place to go during the summer . There're a lot of store every where and very convenient to get anything at anytime.

Nightlife is incredible, people are friendly. Make sure to check out stokes croft and Gloucester Road for some non gentrified gems. The shopping is brilliant in Cabot, broadmead, park street, whiteladies and Clifton. Some of the clubs can be a bit pricey but student deals keep the cost down and allow for better pre's anyway

Bristol attracts tourists from all over the world, yet it doesn't feel like a commercially touristic place. Woven through the city are historic monuments, vibrant shopping spaces and plenty of green spaces which the locals grace daily.

Bristol is one of the best places to live full stop, I'm lucky to have always lived here, but so many students that come here say how great it is and how they never want to leave. There's so much to do, and you never get bored with the sheer amount of entertainment around. The food, both from local places and from chains is incredible, there's tons of shopping opportunities, from Cabot Circus to Cribbs Causeway, and everywhere inbetween, it's just a fantastic place to be. Value for money is excellent for the experience you get here, and I couldn't imagine anywhere else as home.

Bristol is a fantastic student city with some of the most beautiful green spaces, riverside walks, historical architecture and urban art of any city in the UK. There are three main areas of central Bristol; the Harbourside and Park Street, Clifton Village, and Cabot Circus/Broadmead. All have great shops and restaurants, although Cabot is the main shopping area. Clifton is a bit more expensive but is really beautiful with lots of independent shops. The Triangle and Park Street are where to go for clubs, bars and nightlife and are pretty good value for money. For a student, there's plenty to do including tourist attractions, museums, art galleries and parks and woodland. Overall a wonderful city and a wonderful student experience.

The vibe and overall ethos of Bristol is exactly what I wanted from my university experience. There's so much to see and do, and because there are so many like-minded students about there's never a dull day- everyone just seems happy all the time! :)

A fantastic city and part of the reason I chose my university. If you are a law student, it is great as there are so many law firms but isn't as daunting as London. Everything is close together and there are so many places to explore, including amazing independent food places.

University of the west of England is such a diverse and well organised university, it is located in a great modern part of Bristol with easy access to the main attractions of the city! Students are also able to enjoy themselves with the regular events around Bristol, the harbour side is one of the many beautiful parts of Bristol that invites talent, art and socialising! It’s a great university in a self aware city!

Bristol is a really beautiful city, and the location is ideal. There are numerous clubs and bars and these are all easily accessible either by foot or a very short bus or taxi journey. If nights out are not a preference, then there is still so much to do. Bristol's harbourside and docks are breathtakingly beautiful, especially at sunset, when one can sit at the riverside and revel in the view. Shops are close by too, whether it be food supermarkets or retail department stores. There is a big shopping centre that houses many popular stores which further makes Bristol an ideal location.

I always wanted to go to a city Uni, its just got such a great balance between having everything you need, but not being too vast everything is too spread out! It's in a great location, easy to get to Bath, Cardiff etc.

Bristol is a great city with so much to do and so many places to visit. In good weather, College Green, Brandon Hill and Queens Square are popular haunts. Foodwise you have gourmet pizza from Pizzarova, dirty burgers from Ooh Wee and top notch gelato from Swoon. The nights out can vary from delirious nostalgia at places like Popworld and La Rocca, to finding your perfect event at Motion or Lakota with a choice of disco, drum and bass, jungle, and dance club nights. The value for money overall is what you make it, Bristol is affordable enough for even the most frugal folk.

Bristol is a very vibrant city with lots of things to do. If u love shopping, the city has 2 big shopping malls, Cabot Circus and Cribs Causeway which both has all the major stores and brands. Nightlife is amazing and caters to all types of people, ranging from warehouse raves (house, drum and bass, techno) to a more commercial club (chart music, commercial, edm etc). Value for money is decent with rents being affordable for students. When I had to move out of halls after first year, most people I knew found houses with rents ranging from £290 - £450, which is decent I think. There is of course more expensive houses available to rent for 2nd/3rd students, if you can afford it.

Bristol provides a university experience for all types of students, you can get as involved in local cultures as you want or take a quieter approach! You can walk from one end to the other easily and choose the vibe you want, from Clifton which is slightly posher to stoke Croft and St. Paul’s which is perfect for a night out and streaming with many vibrant cultures! The food scene is top notch, eating in or out! Independent restaraunts offer amazing food and vibes through out the city, st Nicholas’ market offers incredible street food and many of your favourite places are available on Deliveroo! You’re never short of a place for a night out whether it be a Wednesday, Saturday or Sunday - pubs, club or live music!

Brilliant city, perfectly situated within the southwest. Within the central regions, anything is within a walking distance, additionally there is a very well networked bus system that's simple to follow and find the route you need.
