Bristol is the best student city. There's something for everyone. Really cool indie cafes, that are perfect for studying. Don't just need to be crammed in the uni library all day. (Watershed was one of my faves). The city is small enough to walk everywhere, easy access from UOB accommodation. Of course the nightlife is incredible. Bristol has everything from a really chill pop night, to a big drum and bass night.

Bristol is probably the best city i have ever visited in the world, it has absolutely everything you need for all ages. The nightlife is great, clubs like Motion, Lakota, Trinity Centre and Old Crown courts are among the better clubs. Bristol has arguably the best drum and bass scene in the UK and is great for all things bass. The city centre itself has everything you need, shops, restaurants, bars. Also the city is filled with lots of great parks and green space and is a very eco friendly green city.

Bristol is the without a doubt the coolest city in England. It has everything that London has except so much cheaper and so much groovier. The nights out are on fire, with some major artists frequenting some of the best clubs and stages. The food is simply sensational with not only the big places that cater for all but some of the most original and yummy independent restaurants I have ever been to. Although hard at times I love my course and the people I met in my halls of residence and around have become my best friends. Coming to Bristol was officially the best decision I made as I was originall going to Edinburgh. Thank god I didn't here because another thing is that you get the southern weather!

Bristol is one of the most vibrant cities imaginable, especially for students and young professionals. There is always something to fill your time with - if culture is your thing you can choose from theatre at the Hippodrome and the Old Vic, countless exhibitions at M shed and the Arnolfini and a variety of intimate venues including the Tobacco Factory and the Wardrobe Theatre. The food is also unparalleled with a strong presence of vegan options throughout the city including Cafe Kino, the vegan only branch of Oowee Diner on Baldwin Street, VX Bristol. Brunch lovers will never be let down by Melbourne insired Ceres in Stokes Croft and if finer dining is your jam visit The Ivy in Clifton Village for a luxurious experience your wallet will (just about) forgive you for. Hit up Cabot Circus for all of your high street shopping needs, or Park Street and Loot in the Bear Pit if you're more keen pre-loved vintage finds. On a sunny say be sure to enjoy the nature in Ashton Court and take in the views from Brunels suspension bridge en route. All in all, Bristol is a vibrant city and you'll never find yourself at a loose end m, but you may struggle to tear yourself away.

Bristol is the perfect combination of awesome nights out, tasty food, annoyingly tempting shopping, a gorgeous city and hidden treasures like secret bars and hidden cafes. One of my favourite things about Bristol is you're never far from a green space to clear your head if the fast past city life gets a little too much. It's the perfect city for someone looking for hundreds of things to do, yet also the opportunity to just wander, breathe, relax, do some outdoor yoga, or paint a plant pot or go to the cat cafe - there's something for everyone. One of the highlights is definitely Stokes Croft - the cultural quarter of Bristol brimming with Caribbean reggae restaurants, vegan cafes, music venues and performance spaces.

There's always something going on in Bristol. Any night of the week, whatever kind of thing you are into you will find something. From all the quirky cafes and yummy brunch spots, to all the art, culture and music events going off all the way into the night with the crazy night life options of raving in warehouses to drinking at secret bars. If you are a sports fan there's water sports, sports teams and beautiful countryside walks all nearby. If you love your fashion Bristol Park street is home to many vintage, independent clothing stores and then there's cabot circus full of the big brand names and normal retail stores. The restaurant choices are vast and you'll find every type of cuision.

Bristol City has really made an impact on my life. I used to not enjoy going out, spending time with friends much as I felt like my hometown had a bad atmosphere and a lot of animosity due to it being small. Since i've moved to bristol, I've really loved spending time with others due to the night life and places to go and things to do within Bristol. I

Bristol is such an artsy and vibrant location to live in with everything you need close by from sightseeing to nights out. Bristol Zoo, Clifton Suspension Bridge, Cabot Tower as well as the floating harbour side throughout Bristol are must-sees. There are plenty of museums as well as graffiti from famous artists including Banksy. Just outside of the city centre, there are areas also full of great eating places as well as nature getaways. There are plenty of bars and clubs as well as events from famous musical artists, bands to poets coming into the city. There are two big malls to shop from including Cabot Circus through to Broadmead and the Galleries and then Cribbs Causeways Mall.

Bristol is a nice city with a good mix of nature and city, without feeling too big and suffocating. Plenty of nice places to just take a walk and plenty of places to go for night outs if you're into that. Transport can be a little unreliable at times but they're constantly trying to improve!

The nights out are the best but are sparsely located all over Bristol, so venturing out is a must. Lots of great places to eat, especially vegetarian and vegan.

Lovely city with lots to do and see, plenty of different choices depending on the type of vibe your into, lots of places to eat and drink and for a night out, often on the pricey side however

Bristol is so viberant and has so much to offer. It's got all the high street big brands for shopping yet also had an independent shopping area and great charity shops and helps to support small businesses. The nightlife is insane and there's something on every night.

I love bristol, the nightlife is banging and the city itself is very beautiful an interesting. There are plenty of restaurants to choose from, the ones next to the river are lovely. Good places to go out include the black swan, lakota and blue mountain. Good range of hotels and hostels. Definitely worth visiting the vintage shops such as loot vintage. All round just a really nice, interesting city with lots to do.

Amazing nights out, whatever your music taste, including cheap offers! Huge array of restaurants and shops. Then a surprising and beautiful contrast to the city vibe, the huge expands of greenery and panoramic views at the Suspension Bridge, parks and woodlands. All within easy access due to the cheap buses.
