Lots of crusties everywhere from nice Middle class homes thinking they're sick, lots of really protentious people, quite expensive but really fun for a couple of years.

Frenchay is easy to access with the uwe express bus service but it is far away if you dont want to use the bus. Bower is in the very south of bristol so hard to access by an inconsistent bus service and a long walk. Everywhere in bristol is walkable however

I lived near the vet campus of the uni of Bristol down in lower Langford. It's a very pretty rural area and is much cheaper to live than Bristol itself. Unfortunately, that transport links are terrible and the uni doesn't do much to help leaving many students here feel isolated and left out. Going on a night out (which is fun in Bristol) could mean a 2 hour journey there and back, while driving would only be half an hour max.

Bristol is very beautiful city with lots of places to visit and a lot of good food places. U can easy find places to eat good food but most of the places are very expencive and not afortable for every student. There are a lot of shopping centres and the prices arent very high and u can easy find nice clothes on good prices. But the transport is very bad. The buses are late most of the time.

UWE is quite out of the main Bristol area and doesn’t feel connected to the main city. It sits in a pretty area but isn’t particularly vibrant. Transport is good into the centre though!

Bristol is a great city and ideal for uni life with so many shops making it easy to find part time work. Nightlife is great! Especially if you’re into the rave/house/techno scene. There are the occasionally rnb/hip hop/afrobeatts and basement nights every now and then. There are so many place to eat out in Bristol it’s unreal!!! The food is amazing! If you love burgers, definitely try out Hub Box, Owee Diner and Burger Theory, you won’t be disappointed.

It is a busy bustling city with lots to do and so many new people to meet! The nightlife is good but you need to be weary about which one you want to go to for safety reasons. The transport to uni from town is regular and when you are shopping at all the high street places you need, there are food places around nearly every corner! Value for money is ok here - definitely better than London! I love Bristol and recommend it to anyone.

Bristol city centre I have grown to love and would definitely consider living here when I am older. As a student my issue is with transport as UWE is so far outside the city centre. The nightlife in bristol is fantastic but being stuck in the centre at 4am because the forth consecutive bus hasnt turned up isnt. First are an embarressment and my only qualms with bristol stem directly from them

A busy and diverse city with plenty to do for students, despite its size it has a well compact city centre with a great choice of mainstream shops and restaurants as well as some fantastic small businesses. The night life in Bristol is diverse and there’s plenty to do during the weekends however there could be more events during the week which would be an improvement. The Mall at cribs causeway is not too far from central Bristol and is an excellent place for shopping and markets near Christmas. Everyone is very friendly in Bristol

The location is beautiful but not practical with the nearest accommodation 30 mins walk minimum. Very little public transport especially on early mornings

Really nice local pubs. Interesting little shops in the old part of bristol. Friendly people. Nice vibe in the summer when everyone goes to the park. Would say though bristol is the most druggy city I've ever lived in. People smoking crack in the main shopping centre

The town is very far away expensive taxis. Nice places in town like clubs and pubs.not much to do. But in centre there are a lot of shops too. Expensive in pubs and in clubs. Entries are a lot too
