Unite House is placed just off the bottom of Park Street giving it prime city centre location close to clubs, restaurants, shops and most importantly, the university campus is only 5 minutes away. I have had a great social experience with my five other flatmates and made many friends on my floor. The kitchens are good sized social spaces however, the common room/reception room is oddly placed next to the building entrance and is very small in comparison to the other Unite Srudents accommodation next door, Orchard Heights. The main problem my flat has experienced is maintenance issues including no hot water for one day, our oven not working, the power tripping and the battery in our doors running out but Unite have a great maintanence team which responds quick and generally fixes our problems fast. Overall, it is a great location with an excellent social life guaranteed.

Great location, right in the city centre. Facilities alright but staff quite useless, big disparity between size of kitchens despite we're all paying the same. Good social experience, everyone mixes well, room was nice though did have a ceiling crack and window crack.

Overall facilities are clean and modern and kept clean to a high standard, my room is light and bright and at a very high standard, the en suite was prone to minor flooding. The main cons of unite house was the laundry which was too little and too expensive. Also the receptionists were at times rude and very slow to process parcels and mend maintenance reports.

Unite house is perfectly located, close to the centre and uni. As its next door to orchard heights we made friends with students next door. My only complaint would be the rooms are on the smaller side and have single beds. There is often noise from the pub outside/building work on weekends too.

Amazing location close to uni, nightlife and shopping. Everyone in stoke bishop hated having to get buses everywhere including a night out

Accommodation is in an ideal location in the city centre, with university, shops and clubs all within walking distance. The building itself is modern and and well maintained.

Had an amazing time in halls, met lots of different people and made some really great friends. Location was also fantastic being a 10 minute walk away from the Uni and with the city centre being so close by, everything you could want is within walking distance

The halls are in a good location and cheap for what they are, however we had issues with mice throughout the year as well as problems with sudden power cuts. As is to be expected there is a lot of noise which is generally tolerable but if living on the front side of the building it can get very loud.

Great location right in the city centre but the social life was poor. If you don't get lucky with good social flatmates, it becomes very difficult to meet other people as the flats are all seperated and there aren't good events organised to help you meet new people. Facilities are average for student halls, but the laundry is a real hassle

The location of unite house is phenomenal, right in the middle of the city you can get to anywhere that a student would want to go, easy access to the night life and a five minute walk to lectures. The facilities are pretty basic and the security are quite heavy, the decor could also be improved, the social experience is really good though and the people here are lovely.

Great social experience, nothing else like it. Really friendly people and down to earth. Perfect location only a 5 minute walk away from uni and in the center of all the night life

Social life - 10/10 Location - 10/10 actual flat - bit crap and tatty round the edges but overall not awful

Unite is very well located for both uni and nightlife, being between the centre and the main campus. People are pretty friendly in general and pres are always good. Rooms are reasonably basic. My room was an en suite but the facilities are very cheap. Nonetheless, it serves nicely as somewhere to work, sleep etc and with some decoration can feel like home. Kitchens are usually pretty big with two fridges, plenty of storage space and an oven and microwave. There are also sofas and a breakfast bar-style thing which is great for chilling with flat/friends as the common room doesn't get much use. Security can be pretty annoying but I think that applies in all Unite Students halls. WiFi is fine for most but in my flat it cuts out a lot.

Great location in Bristol city centre (bottom of Park St), walking distance to most places, and really close to the university as well. Very sociable halls too - nice modern kitchen/living area and rooms are a good size. Common room is small but nice atmosphere, staff are usually friendly. There is a courtyard which can be noisy but is a funny addition to the halls. There were lots of problems with the fire alarms going off in the first few months (during the night) so it got to the stage where no one would leave the building when it started bleeping. On the second night in halls we had to sleep on the floor of the Hawthorns cafe because the electricity turned off in Unite. It was pretty funny though. It is quite pricey, but cheaper than lots of the other accommodation in Bristol.

Not as bad as everyone makes it out to be! The location is by far the best thing about unite House. As far as social spaces go, we have permission to use the facilities of our neighbours Orchard Heights.

It is a very good place for location being a ten minute walk up hill to the centre of the campus. Room sizes are good however lacks any bright colours. Kitchen sizes vary from big to very small

location was brilliant, 8mins to uni or to the centre, 5mins to tesco. The community was fun and very student-like. The room was a bit small and dark ass it faced onto the courtyard but had a nice ensuite bathroom. Lifts allow easy access to all floors of the building and locks on all doors keeps you safe.

The bedrooms were fine, with enough space for a few guitars and lots of clothes in the cupboard. There was no double bed, but that's my only criticism of the room. The corridors leading into the flats were a bit of a maze and the decor wasn't unlike a prison. It was far too expensive for a room with no ensuite (£128 a week at the time), and was often loud on Friday nights.

The size of the bedroom with ensuite is surprisingly a good size and the kitchen is a good size for the 7 us (although the table in the kitchen needs to be slightly bigger since it generally fits at the most 6 people. A second hob would also be useful as it is difficult when more than one person is trying to use it at a time. I was placed with good flatmates and we all get along and have similar interests. Initially I was pleased with my room since it was down the corridor away from the kitchen so I was expecting my time at this residence to be quiet like I had explicitly asked. However the noise from the kitchen and bedrooms is easily heard from my room. The flat next door to me is also very loud with voices and playing very loud music and I find this frustrating especially when I’m trying to work or sleep. Everything in my room works, however I had some repair issues in my bathroom which still haven’t been resolved despite asking at reception very early on I’m my stay.
