Student village was just basic but everything you needed! Having an en suite was useful unlike wallscourt where toilets are shared. The social aspect of student village depended on if you got on well with your flat mates, luckily I did , and it was great having them and the sourrounding flats in close proximity to socialise. One of the major downfalls was the location, being on campus felt like living in a bubble because you need to get a bus to do anything e.g go into City centre or go to the pubs on Gloucester Road but apart from that they were fine

Location good due to being on campus however at least 30 minutes bus ride from any activity/town centre. No common areas except for smoking huts, encouraging smoking. Lounge areas uncomfortable and not homely discouraging social interaction because it’s comfier and nicer to be in your room.

I found the halls clean and welcoming. The facilities within the grounds were great. However, the size of the bedroom was too small, considering the rent was extortionate. It was a good location as it was on site and meant getting to lectures was do-able but I would have much rather paid less and been in different location as so I had more funding throughout my first year. Unfortunately, these cheaper places were already booked up and this meant I had no other choice.

Good room size with wet room, laundry facilities are clean but costly. Communal areas are spacious with two large fridges and ovens between 6.

Good size for the kitchen and communal areas, and the en suite makes life easier, however I have found the security to be a nuisance and the price of the accommodation is high.

Hot water in my bathroom never works, shower curtains are horrible and my heating doesn't work. However lovely location close to lectures and gym and really good atmosphere during freshers

Modern, light and spacious. Could be warmer though and offer for more comfortable seating in the seating area. Also could have more kitchen cupboards for storage. Bedrooms are basic and the beds are small. Big though and quite a lot of storage. Toilet and wet room is small but sufficient. Overall it’s okay, more than sufficient to live in but there are problems. A lot of things break throughout the year probably due to the fact they rarely replace things between tenants.

I did enjoy living here at first but then the noise around campus and my flatmates being messy and extremely loud after nights out, it drives me crazy. But it did allow me to learn how to live on my own away from family
