Good modern building with good facilities. The courtyard is a good place to socialise and there are two large common rooms good for socialising and studying. There are also a lot of free activities offered from yoga, netball, movie nights with free pizza. The locations is very convenient being just a 5 minute walk from the university campus and very close to the city centre.

Social area not very social, Nice rooms with ensuites and great location - close to uni and town and all clubs. Long walk up stairs to get to uni though but good morning workout haha.

Orchard Heights has a really great location, right in the heart of the city centre. It's not the most sociable halls and it's quite expensive but the rooms are really nice and the kitchens and living space are big.

I have enjoyed my time at Orchard Heights. Its located in a very good area only a short walk to both the University and the city centre. Despite it being on the pricey side it is definitely worth it.

Great city centre location. Rooms are all ensuite and spacious. Nicely furnished for students. Kitchen shared between 10 people means great way to socialise and meet new people

It has a wonderful location with everything you need (shops, bars, clubs and restaurants) being well within walking distance. The rooms are spacious and the common rooms well equipped with pool and ping pong tables, as well as having separate study and music rooms. The staff are lovely and offer a very supportive environment. Activities organised by the halls are enjoyable and very varied.

The location is great with multiple night clubs and pubs all within walking distance. There's also multiple small supermarkets nearby so it's super easy to go grab some food or alcohol last minute. It's also a short walk from a shopping centre, the coach station and most of the academic buildings. The rooms are great, each has a double bed and ensuite. Also the staff at the university put on lots of events throughout the year such as movie nights and formals in the Wills Memorial Building.

The location was right in the centre of Bristol, very convenient as shops were very nearby and just a street away. The walk to university was very short and was the perfect location for university, shops and transport. The rooms were a bit small, but had great storage - the en suite rooms were very modern and brand new but a bit small. Kitchen facilities were modern too. The social spaces were great, with good study spaces, snooker and table tennis facilities. There were many social events too arranged by the JCR including formals, sports events and pizza nights.

Very Good accommodation, closet to science and maths you can get, extremely easy to roll out of bed and get to lectures in 5 minutes. They always have different events on to meet people and there are a lot of clubs and bars close by, the O2 arena underneath is a great place to go. The social areas were clean and fun to play table tennis and revise in. My room was a smallish size but the ensuite was a great addition and the kitchen was very nice, however your kitchen experience will differ depending on your flatmates. It is quite expensive though and the reason I moved was to go somewhere cheaper. The internet was good but fairly often in peak times it'd crash, be very slow or lag. The bike shed inside the halls was a great touch that I appreciated a lot.

It’s so new and so really modern. Every room has an ensuite bathroom, making it a little more expensive than shared bathroom halls. It has a massive downstairs common area with pool, table tennis, a music room, study areas and even a kitchen, as well as a smaller upstairs common area. There were only five washing machines when I lived there (2016) and as they were industrial sized washing was rather expensive (£4.50 for a wash and dry in my year). The company that runs the laundry, circuit, is also horrendous but most student halls around the country use it sadly. Our flat was a corner flat and so it had one large hall area which was great for socialising, others had a long corridor blocked off with multiple fire doors which I found less appealing. The cleaning staff were great, they cleaned our kitchen once every two weeks, and reception staff were usually friendly (Callum is lovely) and hold parcels for you. It is right above the O2 academy so great for music lovers (this also turns into a nightclub on Fridays). I didn’t have any issues with noise from the O2, however my flat was on the top floor so I cannot speak for those on the bottom. Maintenance staff were also great and fixed issues quickly. The universities pastoral team were also lovely and very useful and we had senior residents to look out for us. I felt very secure as a key has to be scanned at 4 doors before accessing your flat (5 including your bedroom). The courtyard was just concrete but fine for socialising.
