Ok city, however feels quite rough and is a bit dull. Not that much going on that isnt expensive. Love digbeth :) Nights out are good, we love snobs!

I dont like the mentality of people living there. Everything is about working and there is absolutely no honest kindness between people.

It has lovely shops, a few nice parks. However, it very much lacks an oldtown. The city is commercialized, lack character. I find it tough to find cool and cozy places to hang out with friends in. Also, prices for everyone are high: starting with groceries, food to public transportation and entertainment. The city has a few parks, but they're very small and can be walked around in a span of a few minutes. The centre lacks greenness, but there are nicer places as well such as Edgbaston, where trees make everything look nicer. I think someone with a lot of money and a busy, work driven lifestyle would love it, however those, who like culture, history, nature and try to save a bit of money can have a hard time enjoying their time at Birmingham.

Very few nice areas in Birmingham, and those areas that are nice are plagued by the homeless. Student area selly oak is dirty and dangerous. Bin bag piles out on the high street. Several students attacked or chased by middle aged local men.
