The social experience is unbelievable. The Hall reps really go out of their way to organise a lot of fun events. It’s a little far from uni, but honestly not as bad as people make it out to be.

Liberty Gardens was a friendly halls of residence and I made lots of friends there. I enjoyed the seasonal activities organised by Liberty including a rose hunt on Valentine's Day, a Christmas market and free pizza and quiz night during freshers. The reception, maintenance and security staff were always very friendly and efficient. I always felt secure living there. The only negatives were the lack of washing machines and dryers in the laundry room. Also my main struggle living there was actually getting onto campus as it was a forty minute walk. However, overall I enjoyed living there.

Room, size of flat and price all very good and handy how you can walk into town in about 15 mins however quite annoying being a 20 min walk from the vale can make it harder to make friends on your course and means you have a half an hour walk to uni or a short train ride every day. Overall though Liberty gardens is fairly sociable and it's easy to make friends with others who live there. Security are quite annoying as it's in a residential area so they don't allow loud music past 11.

The rooms here are nice and so do the bathroom and the kitchen. Plenty of storage in the bedrooms, it's nice to have a double bed too. The kitchen area is spatious apart from the cupboards being too small. The staff here however are not the best. We only have access to a member of the liberty staff one hour a day from Monday to Friday, when I am usually in a lecture. They don't really listen to you when you talk to them and it's just unorganised. I don't feel like they have their tenants best interests at heart and they care more about money. They don't have much initiative from my experience. We don't get cleaners or have staff to help the 300 students that live here apart from an hour a day and you can feel on your own a bit here. The location is good for going to the city and has good transport links to the uni but you can feel like you're missing out because you're so far away. Overall its it's okay, the community feel is nice as we've all bonded over not wanting to live here, but having no other choice.

Location not very close to uni but excellent location to train station and broad street. Very friendly. Feels very safe as gated community. Made some incredible friends in this halls. Overall wonderful experience 9/10

Great halls for the price, good location as close to the centre but far from uni. Miss out on the vale activities and no social space. You

Quite far away from university - need to get train or walk for about 30-40 minutes to the main campus. Otherwise, rooms are rather small, but comparable to the size of any hall rooms. There's security on site and laundrette. Close to clubs and big supermarkets and bullring shopping center

the distance is an issue, the option of a half an hour walk or an unreliable train service is impractical, especially considering a sporadic timetable, which limits being able to travel back and forth instead having to stay on campus much longer than ideal

the location is an issue, being a half hour walk away with unreliable train services makes travelling to campus an issue

The location makes it difficult, being a half an hour walk away from campus especially when the trains are unreliable and often late means that if you have a sporadic timetable you have to spend a lot of time on campus when not inlectures, instead of being able to go back and forth. however, being closer to the city centre has its upsides

Liberty gardens is a great location if you like being a short walk away from all the clubs and thhe town centre. However, not so good for the actually university as its a 40 minute walk to campus. Getting to uni is made easier by the train station nearby called ‘Five Ways’ so this cuts the journey to uni to 20 minutes which isnt too bad. I would recommend investing in a bike or a termly travel pass. The actual rooms are a good size with a great small double bed with plenty of wardrobe and draw space. You can also store things under your bed. The desks are really small so couldnt really do my work there much as i had my tv on it. Its not in he vale but it can be really social.

Absolutely fantastic halls, nice flats great location for town and the sesh. Near five ways train station which is very handy. Only downside is that it’s a 40 minute walk from uni :(

Class accomodation, couldnt ask for better people to live with, all staff are very nice and sociable and the space given is very sufficient.

Too far away so missing out on social life, dangerous walking so far to get to and from the vale at night. Safe feeling in LG though and maintenance deals with issues. Perfect if closer to university,

Social experience was poor as it is so far from the actual university campus. The distance is a 40 min walk or 10/15 min by train from Five Ways. Rooms and kitchen are decent but bathroom isn’t great.

Quite affordable accommodation, nice rooms with a decent amount of space and everything is relatively modern. The only downside is that the bathroom is shared, which could be a problem for some, and it is quite a walk from uni, however the Five Ways station is only a short walk away so you can get the train to go to lectures. Also it's in great location for walking to night clubs if you want to save on taxi fares!!

awful, so far, awfully matched house mates, don't feel part of the university, inhumane, unfair! this is so unfair to do to freshers it should be taken down with a crane and bulldozer. Got 3As to get here and its a pile of ************************************* I'm a fresher get me out of here. not okay.
