The location is great because it is close to the university but the showers don’t work they are either cold or switch from hot to cold. 10 people is too many people to share with. Security is a joke

Very dirty place and poor maintenance but i loved being so close to everyone and being on uni site. Was a good way to meet new people and make friends to fit right in!!

The City South Accommodation is ideally placed for those who struggle to get out of bed in the morning- with a literal 2 minute walk to your lectures, what could possibly be better? Broad street is only a 15-20 minute walk away to save your money on a night out, and Harborne is only 20 minutes in the other direction. The halls are fairly small with 6 flats and between 4-7 in a flat, so everybody gets to know each other fairly quickly and you get the social experience of being at uni, with the common room providing a great place to sit and chat, or pre-drink on a Saturday night! The Halls have been around for a while and so there are some bits and pieces which aren’t so great- the curtains for one look like they’ve come straight from the 1930’s! However any maintenance requests have been dealt with fairly swiftly. All in all for what you pay, City South is a good place to live to get from your uni experience what you want.
