Room is a great size, only improvement I would make is a double bed. Number of flatmates is perfect, not too many that you feel like you have no privacy but not too little that you feel lonely. Location is good, near the bus stop and a 5 minute walk to the local shop on campus. Near the library which is a bonus. A slightly bigger kitchen would be better but as long as everyone isn’t cooking at the same time then it’s fine.

Location is amazing as it’s near all major buildings on campus. Actual accommodation is very good: rooms are a decent size with a good amount of storage space and ensuite bedrooms. Also mood lighting is a plus. Kitchens are also nice as there are enough sinks and hobs to share with six other people without it feeling too cramped. Major con is the lack of a true social space other than the kitchen.

Nice en-suite rooms, with a shared kitchen between 7. Modern rooms with limited but sufficient storage. 100% self catered and relatively big kitchen for 7 people with a big TV screen. Location is great, being on campus right by the bus stop, limetree cafe and most lecture buildings.

The location is great because it is really close to the bus stop and the restaurant Lime Tree. The room is incredibly spacious, with a single bed and the best part is that there is mood lighting - great for setting the mood during movie nights. The social areas are also great. Compared to the Quads, it doesn't have tables and sofas for you to chill around. The kitchen is basically the social space, but it has a TV on there and a large enough bench for everyone in your flat to sit on. I thought that was sufficient for time to socialise.

Excellent location on campus, very near the main lecture halls. Very modern and the rooms had a great layout with an ensuite (the mood lighting is top). Good amount of people per flat (varies between 5 and 7 I believe). Kitchen was a great size and cleaned regularly. Very good social experience also

It’s in a good location on campus and has a fairly nice modern set up. The bedrooms are more spacious than other halls, but only single beds and the the showers often flood the bathroom. There isn’t really a social space and a small kitchen.

Great rooms, good sized kitchen, social life not great due to only seven per flat. Would be good to complete survey with interests before halls are allocated to match with other students with similar interests.

Short minute walk from the bus stop, near lime tree (restaurant). Accomdation itself meets fine line between boujee and economical. Having an ensuite is always nice and kitchen is frequently cleaned. TV provided in kitchen. Personally no. of flatmates (in one with 7 but some flats have 5) is just ideal. Only thing is would be nice to have a communal space. And an elevator for every block. And a shower instead of a wet room but now I'm being picky.

All accomodation at UoB is expensive for what it is, but Solsbury court was well-maintained, had a cleaner that came and did the kitchens, good sized rooms and an excellent campus location. Communal Areas needed some improvement on the ground floor flats as there as no communal dining space.

Overall, really nice halls to live in. Decent sized rooms and well furnished but the wet room did get a bit damp after a while. The lack of social space meant the kitchen was used a lot which meant we had a very close flat but led to more mess in there.
