Very basic accommodation but lots of fun to be had there. Kitchen was okay size and there is a bit of a social area alongside. Definitely a better option than Westwood given the difference in price.

Eastwood is not the most luxurious halls on campus, but I would not choose another one. The shared bathrooms and soviet-era look of them is a downside, but the bedrooms are more spacious than others on campus and the house-style makes it really feel like a home. Its also the cheapest accommodation on campus - the others may be flashy and modern but are ridiculously overpriced, and trust me, you'll want to save every penny. Also, every single student at bath will confirm that Eastwood is the most fun - there's always a house party you can find! In terms of location it's brilliant too, but then all on-campus accommodation is brilliant location. it may not have flashy mood lighting but the Quads but I promise you you'd love Eastwood.

For the cheapest accommodation it was far better than expected - loved my year there and met some awesome people :)

Loved living in Eastwood 16. So good for the cheapest accommodation and better than Eastwood B as they have not yet been refurbished!

As I was lucky to get a room that is facing the trees and field, it was a good room with nice lighting and view. Would prefer the one without basin as its more spacious and clean. Toilet is just outside the room so there's no trouble for that. It is important to choose accomodation near to department building to make life easier, which in this case I find my location of my hall very convenient as its near to my lecture halls.

Great halls next to local transport links, very centrally located and local to any stores. You can also get transport direct from the university outside the building in the daytime.

Eastwood may not be the most luxurious accommodation but if you want a good time it’s definitely the place to be. The house like set up makes it feel really homely and I got to know my other 11 housemates really well. The kitchens and bathrooms were in serious need of refurbishment but the exterior looked nice and the rooms were a good size. Eastwood is no more than 10 mins walk from anywhere on campus so it’s perfect for lectures. I wouldn’t have chosen any other accommodation!

Eastwood is a great place to experience student life at beget. Room is perfect size to lI've by yourself, even to have food in your own room as my friend did.

Pretty substandard accommodation to be honest. The room size isn’t bad but the kitchen is far too small. Everything is clean but for the cost of the accommodation they could really do more to make it more homelike and appealing. The outside of the building is old and very dirty and sort of has a grungy poor feel. In terms of social experience it’s a great atmosphere as you live with 12 people and sort of become one big family, but it would just be nice to come home to a welcoming building

Eastwood is adequate, however in Eastwood B there is not enough fridge or cooking space for all people living in the house. Also, our lack of access to a hoover has meant the floors of our rooms remain in horrible states, even with usage of dustpans and brushes. Expensive for what it is but expected in Bath. Good size room and not a bad location.

The location was excellent, minutes walk away from most of the main lecture Hall. Wasn't really halls it was more of a 3 story house. Room was good, not to big and not to small.

Nice location on campus. Small room that wasn't brilliantly sound proof. Had a large kitchen and sink in the room. Had a separate shower and toilet. Was great living with 11 people as there was always someone to hang out with.

Heating not on all day in the winter, very messy housemates who don't tidy away, rooms are small yet substantial

Great for social life, but not much kitchen space and have to share one oven between 13. The location is ideal, on campus and a ten minute walk to the other end of campus. Good value for money as it is shared accommodation.

The location is good as it is near the mail room and other facilities. The rooms are basic with no sink etc but this is compensated for by their spacious interior. Strange design - walls are not plastered which often leads to strange comments from residents from the Quads. Ovens seem to stop working a lot - not ideal. The communal space is the kitchen - no separate room.

The room was small but functional, the kitchen was pretty ok as we all had different schedules. Only 2 showers was an issue once or twice though

Living in a house of 12. The kitchen is small but has everything you need in it. Rooms are also small but have really good storage space.

the view outside my room is soooo nice, the room has a decent size, i found no problem with sharing bathroom and kitchen

The location is great as its near to my lecture rooms. I love the view from my window, where sunlight comes in (when there is sun), it feels warm and nice. The laundry, mailbox room and parcel rooms are nearby and makes things convenient. It is nice to stay in an all girls house as we always keep our place clean and tidy

For Eastwood 1-21 there are big rooms, each with a single bed, and every house also has a kitchen/social area where most of my flatmates spend their time. The bathrooms are shared but we never have to wait for a shower or toilet. However there's no cleaning service and Bath in general is expensive so the housing is pretty overpriced

Sharing 2 toilets and 2 showers between 13 people isn't as bad as I thought it would be. Since we only have 1 kitchen it is really social. The downside is that most of the washing machines and dryers don't work (circuit laundry sucks)
