O2 Mobile Networks Reviews

Anonymous
Poor data service; seemingly very slow a lot of the time. After sending my phone to them for repair, they somehow managed to loose my phone and have still offered no compensation to this date.
Anonymous
with a phone I bought myself, my 02 pay as you go is a great addition as I feel the hardware is worth more than the amount of calls/minutes you can get with packages.. however I will say data is important and when you need it most, 02 normally have the area covered in my experiences.
Anonymous
They're okay in terms of customer service however they renewed my contract without asking me. Coverage was fine! Cost of my contract was £20 per month however increased
Anonymous
Great coverage all over the U.K. and Europe, good value for money for both the phone and the contract, able to connect to 3G in most areas. Website is easy to use and customer service has been great if I have ever had any issues
Anonymous
Overall good service - however sometimes I have experienced a loss of coverage and experienced connecting issues
Anonymous
Very good service wherever i go, also additional perks from being with 02 such as getting priority to really good concert tickets etc
Anonymous
So I have been with O2 for 8 years now, they always value customer satisfaction, their offers are tailord to each user and customers are very valuable to them. Their plans are vary customer to customer but they always aim to provider their best, their call centres are pretty great, waiting time is 0-max of 5 minutes, which is pretty great.
Anonymous
As a recent IPhone XS owner the plan I recieved is very good value for money because of O2's partnership with Dixon's Carphone to provide Currys PC world employees with a 30% discount on the monthly cost. In addition to this the process of upgrading to my current contract from my old one was very simple and made life much easier because I was able to keep my number. With this being said I feel that O2 need to improve their data coverage as many people I know with other mobile networks get a stable 4g signal in my local area; which is where I need to use data the most. Overall, the service is very satisfying.
Anonymous
great contract, easy to switch to a new one when an upgrade is needed. Coverage is good in most places, and flexible when you travel into the Europe zone.
Anonymous
Customer service has always been fantastic. I use the O2 app a lot and get early access to gigs that I want to see.
Anonymous
Overall, not a bad provider however data sometimes doesn't work and the price could be better compared to other networks like Three.
Anonymous
My service is really good and 4G too plus I pay £20 and get 20GB of data, unlimited texts, unlimited minutes plus when I go abroad in Europe I can use this plan at no extra cost and as a bonus I can now do this in 75 other countries too. Plus I get O2 Priority which allows early access to tickets, discounts on food and products, etc. Then lastly I have been given 6 months free Netflix!
Anonymous
I like the 02 priority options and rewards you can get. Also I always have good signal which is vital.
Anonymous
Been with them for years, they are always helpful if I have any problems I love the 24 hour support chat!
Anonymous
I have been with o2 for years and never had many problems. The only trouble I did have was when it came from changing the account holder from my brother to me, but this did get sorted. The main reason I've stayed with this network (even though it doesn't give you value for money in comparison to other networks) is because of perks like o2 priority, etc. I go to a few concerts and gigs so it's great to get tickets before general release .
Anonymous
Good arrangement of paying separately for device plan and airtime plan. Gives you frredof to upgrade device early or pay off device plan and pay reduced amount for just the airtime useage. Data coverage pretty consistent throughout the UK, never any major problems and nice O2 priority accessory for free or discounted offers.
Anonymous
I've been using O2 for about 5 years now, internet is always good. O2 priority is a very good perk especially for concert tickets. Overall very good network.
Anonymous
Great customer service, needed a new plan for travelling abroad, helped me find the best deal and coverage.
Anonymous
O2 provide great customer service with great perks for all customers. Highly recommend them as a mobile provider. If anything ever goes wrong they always provide with you with something to say sorry.
Anonymous
I've recently changed from EE, and I have noticed the internet coverage is quite bad. There was also an issue fairly recently in which all o2 users couldn't call- which was quite annoying. Overall it's not bad, but I regret leaving EE.
Anonymous
Good coverage for phone calls and 3/4G. Phone calls and texts for £20 are more minutes and messages than I would ever need in a month but they only provide 3GB of data.
Anonymous
Very good network but 4G data could be improved as sometimes it's pretty slow but everything else is good
Anonymous
Good coverage everywhere I need it. Exellent rewards through priority in O2 venues and priority tickets .
Anonymous
Quality of coverage is consistent, from city centres to the outskirts. The o2 priority app is a great bonus, in the attempt to win prize draws but especially the freebies if you get to them in time. This is one of the aspects which has kept me with o2 for years. Never had any major issues with them as a provider.
Anonymous
O2 don't reward long term customers. I have been with them for nearly 10 years now and have never recieved any perks for being with them as long as I have. However the service they offer is fine, very rare do I have coverage problems or anything of that sort and the deals they offer are somewhat reasonable
Anonymous
Reasonable monthly cost, with varied options for your usage and the perks are amazing, I use O2 priority most days!
Anonymous
I feel like could improve so much with students there isn't enough perks given to students and I pay so much
Anonymous
Always so easy to contact, online chat is quick and effective. I received 6months Netflix with my deal which has been a great perk! O2 priority has also some excellent perks too that I have used!
Anonymous
It's very easy to top up on pay as you go online. Also, O2 priority is a very good part of the service where you can receive awesome freebies and a free hot drink at Cafe Nero. Only sad thing is that I never seem to win any of the competitions.
Anonymous
The main reason I got O2 was because its the only mobile service I'm aware of that has coverage at my home, no one who visits who has a different network can even send a text most of the time. There was a problem with data a month ago where there was no connection for a day, but they gave me a discount on the bill as way of apology. I am regularly abroad, and the connection is good there too, I notice no difference between the quality of connection on roaming and while at home. However it often takes about 30-40 mins to connect after arriving, witch isn't great when you have just got off the plane and are trying to meet up with someone in the airport. (this could be because I have an rather old phone though)
Anonymous
Honestly, I can rarely get 4G in the places where I need it, but bizarrely it works really well in dense forests
Anonymous
I have revived excellent customer service any time I call someone always helps me sort my problem and also I get informed of all offers that are available. I have been with 02 now for 5 years and wouldn't go with anyone else.
Anonymous
Generally satisfied with this service. I would have appreciated more data with less texts as I hardly use the text service. When I travel, I sometimes get a lot of problems to connect.
Anonymous
The quality of the coverage is exceptional. Never had too much trouble connecting to 4G or sending and receiving text messages and calls. Value for money is also great and I have been a loyal customer with O2 for 7 years. Wouldn't change a thing! O2 Priority Moments is also a major perk allowing me to take advantage of many deals and competitions.
Anonymous
Contract is great value for money and allows me to have 20 GB of data which I need as I'm online a lot. It's also got all the perks, including O2 Priority
Anonymous
I get good quality covereage most of the time but sometimes my 4G stops working for no reason at random times. Overall, the phone calls are good quality and I usually have 3G or 4G. It is good value for money
Anonymous
I have been with O2 for a few years now, I have good network service wherever I am, I have never had a problem with network coverage. I have had great customer service, whenever I had a query with my bill, also great help and advice on upgrading, best data allowance I would need, overall I find O2 first class.
Anonymous
Great company, always been with o2 and won't change. Network usually always working and 4g never usually down.
Anonymous
I was particularly impress that after the network went down last month I was immediately offered money off of my next months payments, they were quick to rectify any issues and communicated as soon as they were able to their resolution.
Anonymous
I would recommend 02 to other people as the international reopening perk is great however I often have poor signal in my area so this could be improved.
Anonymous
Bit expensive compared to other service providers but they do have good network across uk and they have a high speed internet in the stations
Anonymous
After being with Vodafone and having a really bad experience (awful customer service, bad deals) I decided I would change when my contract was up. 3 months before it ended I decided I couldn't wait, so went into o2 to get a contract with them. I much prefer it.
Anonymous
The customer service of the staff members in sore have always been amazing and super helpful. I have been with them for about a year now and have had zero problems with them.
Anonymous
Good priority membership perks on o2 priority and reliable service. I've come back to o2 after originally being with them then moving over to 3. Only issue is that the options for travelling abroad aren't as competitive as other service providers.
Anonymous
The signal is low majority of the time and some days their is no signal all together and they text you to apologise but it's is not what I expect paying £43 a month. This is not good quality experience I thought I was signing up for and the internet on my plan is not at all desirable, if I want to change it I have to pay £10-20 more for an extra gig.
Anonymous
Not great signal in Chester. Says I have 4g but doesnt work. Only gave £2 off next bill when had a two day outage. However love O2 priority .
Anonymous
O2 is very good, always got network, never had any problem with o2. Every time when i call to customer service they always help me.
Anonymous
Service generally really good however there have been some occasions where I struggle for signal in places which probably should have a good coverage.
Anonymous
O2 is amazing I have had no trouble since I have changed to it it also works really good when I am out the house and need to use my 4G
Anonymous
Very spotty coverage in some areas. Takes a good 4 days from paying phone bill to have data returned. No matter how many times you opt out of receiving offers and texts from o2 you still get like 4 a day
Anonymous
I have been with o2 for years. Their priority scheme has allowed me to go and see shows like Adele, Beyoncé and Miranda live.
Anonymous
O2 is amazing I got 50GB of data for only £57 a month it loads everything on my phone so quickly and I have had no trouble with it since I got it!!!
Anonymous
I first went with the sim only plan after being on pay as you go for a long time, I'm so happy I didn't look back on it. The company actually update me about my minutes, texts and data about how much I have left. They also text me with things about priority and the different deals they have going on
Anonymous
Customer service with o2 is very good they are efficient at dealing with problems that I may have on my phone. My phone package is very good and for a very good price. O2 priority perks are amazing. They include free cafe nero on Tuesdays or Wednesdays and occasional freebies at WHSmiths....
Anonymous
I have been with O2 ever since my first phone and I believe that this is a good service. They provided me with a good deal on minutes, calls and data for being a student, which was really helpful. I have always found my service to be really good and to cover me where ever I am for the majority of the time in comparison to my friends with other providers. The priority is also very good, I have manage to find numerous deals and saved money, especially for food. I would say that the price point in comparison to other providers is higher. This has nearly caused me to change providers due to being a student. Overall, I am very happy with the service provided and would recommend o2.
Anonymous
O2 is a good provider. Perks include unlimited calls or texts which is quite convenient. I have had no major issues to date.
Anonymous
O2 coverage has been good and whenever I have needed to contact customer service they have been easy to contact via an online chat service. They did have an issue with their whole network going down a few months ago but compensation was good. I also use o2 Priority for loads of things.
Anonymous
Data hasn't been working for 2 weeks, fuming. I am on a year abroad in France and usually have pretty good network. However my signal and data cut out for a week, and now my data still isn't working.
Anonymous
Customer service are always very helpful. I receive a good amount of internet compared to friends who pay more
Anonymous
I almost always have decent data coverage and have never had any issues with o2. And with the O2 priority app I frequently have perks to make use of!
Anonymous
They are amazing. Good value for money and excellent deals and service. Priority app means free coffee each week.
Anonymous
o2 was the first provider I thought of as it was the best in my local area and had heard brilliant reviews. Also the o2 priority was a huge selling point for me as I am very into music and being able to purchase tickets before others was such a huge plus point, and insentive to go with the provider. Usually everyday the service and reception is really really good; but the inconvinience of the internet and signal being down for a whole 2 days meant I missed major emails (as I rely on my phone for such things as emails, messages etc) and this was a huge inconvinience. However they did refund 2 days of internet off my monthly bill, which was good but didn't fully make up for their mess up later in the month.
Anonymous
I don't get service in a lot of places, especially not in my university bedroom where I make most of my calls and send text messages.
Anonymous
Fantastic customer service is standard with O2. Any issue that you might have, they are happy to help out whenever you call them. Network reliability is also fantastic, as I've never had any issues with my coverage at all. Would definitely recommend without fail! I keep coming back to these guys as they're the best in the business, and they have very reasonable prices.
Anonymous
I am very disappointed in 02. It would be good value for money if the service worked properly but it doesn't. A lot of the time my messages and other people's don't go through or arrive much later, a lot of the time when it is an important message or call! However the 02 priority is a plus.
Anonymous
Poor service and coverage which resulted in many issues with connectivity. Frequent problems with roaming led to absurd and ridiculous charges being added onto my bill which were wrong. Customer Service was disgraceful - individuals refused to listen to me and understand my point of view. There was no follow up even though your representatives agreed to call me back. Absolutely disgraceful network and I will be ending my contract as soon as it finishes and not coming back.
Anonymous
Customer service is great and I'm happy with the price of my contract. However my service at home is terrible to say I'm in the middle of a city and phone calls are never clear, forcing me to go elsewhere if I'm expecting a call which is very inconvenient.
Anonymous
Theyre a Trusty provider, who have great offers and I always have great signal wherever i go. Been with them for years now
Anonymous
Great and quick customer service via their online homepage/ chat, what I prefer to use whenever I need help. I have been with O2 since I moved to UK five years ago and still with them today. They have a good overall network coverage most of the time in London and in Essex where I have been using it.
Anonymous
Great network. My favourite thing is the perks it comes with on O2 priority. So many gread deals and offers, especially on food and concert tickets
Anonymous
The best part of O2 is O2 priority. Most people overlook it but being a student is the first thing I look at when going out for the day to see where I can save money. Also being a student entitles you to money off your airtime which is super handy when you're funding yourself, those extra pennies add up! The overall cost of the contract isn't unreasonable, but could be made cheaper to the general public, not just students.
Anonymous
I currently live abroad, my favourite part of this service is how it allows easy texts and calls to UK contacts. Customer service is excellent!
Anonymous
The pay monthly plan that o2 provides me, works brilliantly to my monthly budget, with great reemable perks on the side and I only have to pay £10 a month. Coverage is brilliant.
Anonymous
Very good coverage, quite rare that I have no service. O2 Priority also a bonus. Quite expensive but I think that's just the price of phones these days!
Anonymous
I have been with O2 for over 10 years and they never disappointed me. great deals and perks with upgrades.
Anonymous
Been with O2 for over year now, and I have to say the service I've received so far has been amazing for the price. Coverage has been excellent even in area of low connectivity. The inclusive perks are amazing especially with the early access to event tickets.
Anonymous
I've honestly never had issues with O2 during the past 10 years. I get good signal pretty much everywhere, they've had reasonable pricing on phone plans that suit my needs and when I do go in store I don't feel pressured by their staff. O2 rewards is alright as well.
Anonymous
They have no contract sim only deals which I thought was amazing. I was out of the country for 2 years and thought I was going to have to go the hassle of a contract but instead I just pay £15 and have an incredible amount of roaming data and mins and text I will never finish using. I truly loved this new way of doing things, plus, I have never had a loss of coverage apart from when I'm in an elevator which is expected. Also when I went to Paris I could still easily call and roam with no restrictions and no extra charges which I thought was the cherry on the awesome cake. Definitely recommend O2.
Anonymous
Started my O2 contact last year and I've been very satisfied with the service and price of the tariff.
Anonymous
The greatest perk O2 has to offer is priority providing great deals and the chances to win some amazing prizes.
Anonymous
Coverage is pretty good, data roaming gets almost everywhere, could be bit better. It's expensive though, and doesn't tell you when you're about to run out of data so that's annoying.
Anonymous
I've recently just moved to O2 from giffgaff and so far almost everything has been perfect. However, the extra hidden charges should be made more clear and the way that the money is to be paid from the account should also be made clearer.
Anonymous
O2 have a habit of locking you into a contract that was not fully explained at purchase. I wanted to switch providers for my last upgrade but I found that if I did I'd have to pay £200+. So that left me the choice of no phone (my old one wasn't working) or a new one on a more expensive contract. They are a money hoover machine!! Coverage can also be very poor, especially in more rural areas. I guess with o2 you could say that they have an all or nothing approach. They also overcharged me on my first bill (£50!!) and it took 2 weeks and 100s of phone calls back and forth. They'd even charged me £7 to get a £5 discount on my bill? HOW?! None of the consultants knew why I'd been overcharged or how? I never found out but thankfully I got my money back.
Anonymous
I got a really good deal on my new phone and get amazing coverage, the customer service is excellent and I'll never switch companies, best value for money around!!
Anonymous
Love the extra benefits that come with having this network such as coverage in europe and O2 priority
Anonymous
Brilliant customer service, gave me exactly what I wanted with no hassle. love the flexibility of my tariff and would definitely recommend
Anonymous
The general coverage and rare is pretty good however it's wasn't what I was told I would be paying. It's about £15 more a month and I wasn't able to change it. Also just to get extra data is extortionate amounts.
Anonymous
good coverage, would recommend. the cost i would say is a bit on the pricey side as i could get better deals with other networks. Good customer service although I feel as if freebees should be introduced
Anonymous
My monthly bill was taxed every month and my bill would always exceed my contract by a lot. I agreed to a fixed amount and I never paid what I agreed. Would never go back to o2
Anonymous
Well it's pretty good really, I know there was that whole no internet blip but apart from that it's a yes from me, pretty good I guess
Anonymous
O2 priority really good, lots of amazing deals on offer. Makes me happy to be an 02 customer. They also bring out some of the best deals for phones compared to other networks.
Anonymous
Usually pretty good and reliable but have had a few issues lately which O2 were aware of and gave us a discount off the months payment.
Anonymous
Good coverage, can even get good signal in the countryside, the free wifi is also nice. Although it is good, and the phones are relatively cheap on contract, the price of the actual plans are quite expensive. I am also constantly receiving calls from o2 asking if I want an upgrade despite me saying I'm happy with my current phone multiple times.
Anonymous
I use the £10/month big data bundle top up. Unfortunately, despite its name, it really doesn't include much data at all. I am always left with many texts and call minutes left but finish my data two weeks in, even when using it relatively sparsely. You also can't but £5 top up vouchers, or at least I haven't found somewhere that sells them. Good coverage though
Anonymous
Good service but quite expensive as I can get a handset for £5 more a month! I cannot move anywhere else though because I do not get any signal
Anonymous
Really good customer service. Coverage has never been an issue (other than in very rural areas, but even still its often better than other networks). Great perks with O2 Priority!
Anonymous
I find o2 is a generally good network, however I do tend to experience connection problems at work and a quick look on their site shows frequent mast problems in the area. Apart from this I do find they offer value for money on the latest handsets.
Anonymous
Signal is awful, perks are good and contract is expensive (48 for 5gb and unlimited text and mins, 15 for insurance and 15 for Google music)
Anonymous
They are overall a good company but some of the deals can be super expensive. I enjoy some of the o2 refresh deals. Service also is quite slow to get through to customer service. Wish there was more rewards for existing customers. Ive been with o2 for almost 4 years now, but no discounts have been given.
Anonymous
There has only been 1 issue with network coverage and ability to call people whilst I have been with o2. The 4g signal is good and I get free unlimited calls to other o2 users. They also offer perks to do with music events through the o2 priority system.
Anonymous
Great coverage and fast data speed with great coverage abroad. Great plans to suit all budgets and great customer service.
Anonymous
Very good price for what I am getting from the contract. However, no special perks for myself. There are of course the general O2 perks like O2 priority.
Anonymous
O2 have been really good to me I'm extremely happy with there searvice I've been given. They always look to help me with the best deals they can and are always trying to same me as much money. As a student they know it's hard to pay for a phone so they helped me out linking contracts to a family member so that I could have money off
Anonymous
I have been a O2 customer for a very long time. I am satisfied with the service they provide. I have traveled around london and the coverage has always been outstandinding. O2 priority is a great app and it offers a variety of discounts I benefit from. Overall, I believe O2 is a great nework provider with a reliable customer service.
Anonymous
Good service with loads of hotspots throughout the UK. You can also receive offers for many things, such as concerts, food and clothing.
Anonymous
I've been with 02 since I got my first phone around 10 years ago and I continue to enjoy the perks of O2 priority and Wi-Fi hotspots.
Anonymous
I've got 20% off my airtime bills because I'm a student so I highly recommend that if you are, coverage is fantastic in all of the UK as well as mainland Europe
Anonymous
Affordable pricing and data/minutes/text allowances that I required. Service is great, always had great phone signal. O2 priority is also great, free coffee every week deals/vouchers for food and shopping.
Anonymous
The worst thing about my contract has got to be the price. I pay £45 a month for an iPhone 7, when I know people on other networks pay much less for newer models. Having said this I have stuck with O2 because I do not have problem getting signal at all. Many people I know have issues in remote places especially and I have always managed to get signal and 3G. Also O2 Wifi calling is something that is very useful and handy when you live in an old fashioned building where no one has signal. This is a great feature and I can call people over wifi even if they are not on the interenet and arre using their phone network. Overall O2 is very convinient for me, just on the pricey side. Also it is nice having the O2 Priority perks.
Anonymous
as i pay £16 a month for unlimited texts, calls and 6gb, i feel like i'm definitely getting my monies worth, especially as i very rarely run out of data. o2 have always been a reliable company, and i enjoy the fact they have o2 priority and you can get fast passes/free cloakrooms in there venues. as well, the quality of the coverage in my area is without fault, i can connect anywhere i go and i will definitely stick with them. i also got european roaming covered in my bill when i went travelling this year, and it did not fail me.
Anonymous
Best thing about using O2 is the coverage- I get it almost everywhere, even in isolated areas where other people don't have service. O2 priority also comes with an O2 contract, and has some pretty good perks which I regularly use. Every time I've had to call O2 I've had a good experience with polite and helpful customer service. The only drawback is the cost of adding extra add ons like data when you run out- but this is a minor issue.
Anonymous
O2 are such a good mobile phone company. They go above and beyond for all customers, I have exceptionally service from them in the 5+ years I've been with them.
Anonymous
The service provided by O2 is really good - I rarely don't have service compared to my other friends on diffferent network providers who a lot of the time don't have signal. I got a really good deal with my iPhone 8 of 30GB for only £38 which is basically unlimited as I never run out of data. The customer service is really good as well when I speak to people on the phone about my phone contract the workers are really helpful. The only thing that could improve my opinion of O2 is if you could give discounts or special offers for those who have been with O2 for a prolonged time. I also love O2 priorities I would like if there were makeup and cinema offers though.
Anonymous
always pretty solid connection, often get service when others dont. happy to be using them as they also service my phone and contract separately.
Anonymous
I have been with o2 for many years and they have always rewarded me with great deals and early upgrades for my loyalty! The service is brilliant and they provide excellent network coverage everywhere I go. They also ensure they send me texts when my data is running low and allow me to use up data from previous months that I didn't use.
Anonymous
The customer service provided by O2 is always great as the staff are very kind and willing to help. As well as this, any issues or concerns I;ve had are dealt with promptly by their customer service team. The network coverage has never failed me apart from late last year when the network was down all day however O2 reimbursed me for my troubles. The contract I currently have with o2 is great and I see myself staying with the company for my net contract due to the excellent customer service provided
Anonymous
O2 offer strong, fast coverage across the majority of the UK. With select exclusive phones such as oneplus phones you can't go wrong. Will always recommend 02 to a friend.
Anonymous
O2 have generally been a good network, with great 4G coverage and my plan is pretty reasonable. I get 10G of data and unlimited minutes and texts and an iPhone 7 for around 25 quid a month. I love O2 priority and the deals you get on O2 moments. However, my parents live in a rural area and the signal is bad there and O2 wifi call is decent, but I wish it included text as well. Also in December the network went down for a day which was frustrating and we didn't get much communication about it.
Anonymous
Great never really had a problem with them. Were great when my contract was about to run out they called me to offer more deals which kept me informed of what was happening, otherwise i might have continued to pay for my old phone.
Anonymous
the plan runs out of data every quickly, once leave a Northern Ireland and living in Liverpool, the phone calls are very strained as family and friends don't know what i am saying.
Anonymous
Giff gaff runs on the o2 network, and in 4 years I have been using this network provider, I have ever experienced any issues. I have signal wherever I go and 4g always available. Moreover, giff gaff offers really competitive monthly plans. I pay for just 2gb now since I am often on wifi. However, over the summer, I was lucky to receive 1 extra gb whenever I finished my data while I was on holiday! AMAZING
Anonymous
O2 Priority is a great bonus with my contract and the actual coverage I get with my network is decent. Often I have a signal as well so I'm not nervous about no service during emergencies.
Anonymous
The perks with o2 are great. General coverage and internet is pretty good too but sometimes it can fluctuate. I am happy with the quality of service I receive for the price I pay.
Anonymous
It's a really good monthly plan that I have received, the customer service from the staff were professional and helped me upgrade my phone, I get 15GB data a month for less than £25
Anonymous
I've been on 02 all my live and I haven't had any major problems. For the money I'm paying I personally think I should get more features with my contract like more DATA etc. Customer service has been fine and bearable
Anonymous
I have been using 02 for my entire life as do my family. I haven't ever had problems with my provider or even the in store customer service. Absolutely no complaints, also have an amazing family discounts!
Anonymous
I've been with O2 for around 6 years, I've never had a problem with them, yes there was the incident where the network went down in late 2018, but they have apologised and recovered, even offered those affected compensation (although I wasn't affected as much as others I got 30p off my bill!) Also the customer service is excellent, each time i get in contact with them, which is quite rarely, they're always happy to help with my questions, the O2 live chat (online) is super helpful, but i prefer to hear a voice. The perks are one of the best for a mobile networking company, i regularly use the O2 Priority app to spot discounts and free stuff! which is so convenient as I'm a student (who spends most of her money on food *sadface*) The coverage is also great i live in a small town of which can be hard to find signal *insert another sadface* but I've never been in the situation where I've had to compromise the ability to use my 4G.
Anonymous
O2 has been a really helpful mobile network provider for me. Whenever I have been to a store or talked to someone online they have always been able to provide quick and effective answers to my problems. The pay as you go plans are especially good; I don't use data very often so I don't see the need for a contract. you are also able to set up the plan to top up automatically, which has become a life saver on occasions.
Anonymous
Great network. Good data Bit expensive Good deals O2 priority is good Fast service Good customer service
Anonymous
I have been with O2 for several years now, they are good at asking me to buy more, but very slow to tell me when I am not on the right plan. My current plan is the flexible tariff where I pay either £12, £13 or £15 a month depending on the data and minutes I need that month. I think the plan is very easy to adapt your bill to your circumstances and the data you get is quite high. I also love O2 priorities which comes as an O2 customer, where I get a free Nero coffee each week. This often balances out the price compared to other cheaper tariffs such as three.
Anonymous
Usually O2 has great service most places and gives good service where some people have none or very little. Good if you are impatient and need to find something when you want to find it.

Lots of offers through O2 Priority! Customer service is pretty good too - they let you know in advance if they're working in the area. Also got a key finder free of charge for brand loyalty, which has been very useful! Only downside is the pricing, which isn't the best value for money.
Anonymous
Good quality coverage, good prices and good customer service. Love the O2 priority app to get free stuff too.
Anonymous
Love it get great benefits from o2 priority great service great value for money never have any issues, wouldn't change a thing such a great network company and people in shop very helpful
Anonymous
A generally very good option for standard usage. The only issue I have encountered is consistent across competitor networks where a high number of users in one area reduces performance.
Anonymous
Was not notified when my special offer contract was over and hence was charged by a surprisingly large amount once month. When investigated, they had also continued to charge me the discount rate for longer than they should have and only when they realised did they add on the extra to my next month, which was quite annoying as I wasn't notified. However, customer service is generally good and the app is very useable and makes it quick and easy to check usage and pay bills. Eurozone roaming is great
Anonymous
been with o2 for about 5 years now. been renewing my contract since. however, after my 2 year contract which ends in like 3 weeks, i'm going to stop my contract with them. this is because i have realised i never really paid the amount i signed up for. each month, they some how find a way to charge me for something. i don't know how but i've never really paid the amount i'm supposed to. there always a fiver here, a tenner there - it's really frustrating
Anonymous
Good service mostve the time. O2 priority is a good perk with getting early release gig tickets. Do however get texts saying I've used up my data when I've only used 5/15 GB. Cost is average for phone contracts.
Anonymous
O2 offers many perks for its customers including O2 priority which has discounted concert tickets, the chance to win holidays, prizes and much more. Free items are also offered around the city centre with the app.
Anonymous
I never have any issues with coverage, even when abroad I get a very good level of service, including 4g. The o2 priority offering is great and I actually use it a lot more often than I thought I would, at least a few times each month. Customer support is good and the app is easy to use.
Anonymous
Coverage is good all over UK and never have problems with customer service Also the perks provided by O2 priority really make it a great provider to be on Upgrading is really easy
Anonymous
Excellent customer service when I call, always worked well for me and o2 priorities is a great bonus!
Anonymous
While I've been with o2 for nearly 7 years, I feel like they could do more for their long-term customers. 3 have a perk with easyjet that allow them to go hands-free on their flights, allowing them to get speedy boarding and I'm more aware of that than what o2 do for their customers. I feel like other networks have better deals in terms of tariffs but I'm mid contact at the moment. I'll be researching new deals come Easter time and maybe other networks. In terms of network coverage, in towns and cities, coverage is good however where i.e.from back home I rural Ireland, the signal could use improvements.
Anonymous
Yeah it's really good and I really like it, I like that it costs the same when I am abroad as it does when I am at home
Anonymous
I really like using O2 as it's normally reliable and I like using O2 priority to look for places to eat and for gig tickets. However there have been a few times where the network has crashed which was quite miserable as I couldn't text, call or use data.
Anonymous
O2 are a great network. I am rarely without coverage, even though I spend quite a lot of time in the country. I enjoy using the O2 Priority App as well, as it has a great range of competitions, special offers and little freebies that can be used as customers. The service is easy to use, allowing you to add or take away from your package online when you need to.
Anonymous
I love O2 I think you get the best deals with the provider where ever you are in the U.K. I changed from Utility warehouse back to O2 as it wasn't as good and the deal wasn't worth it
Anonymous
Great service generally, normally have good 4g coverage so can use social network apps on the go very easily. Sometimes a few hiccups where the area doesn't have coverage but usually fixed promptly and doesn't cause too much upset
Anonymous
O2 is a very goodbye provider. My network signal if very strong in many places and I am extremely happy that O2 users receive free wifi in many places such as Costa and Mcdonald.
Anonymous
Excellent coverage, O2 priority has great deals. The only downside is that the contract perhaps isn't the cheapest. They could perhaps offer loyalty discounts for long serving customers.
Anonymous
I am really happy with O2's service. No matter where I go, I always have network coverage. Though they are pricier than most, I would say they're definitely worth the money. And if you're signed up to O2 priority then there's always loads of perks on there too!
Anonymous
The O2 network is very good because O2 priority gives you discounts and ticket sales before they come out to the general public however in recent months there have been some network issues but I believe they're trying to fix that
Anonymous
I am a frequent traveller, which means coverage is very important to me, i have never had any issues with my signal and connectivity, even when abroad. I love that 02 offer 02 priority for concert tickets in advance to general sale, makes me feel a very valued customer. Each time i have had to renew or upgrade my current phone and tariff they offer good deals at affordable prices. The only "issue" i could honestly say i ever seem to have is, having to wait on average more than 40 minutes to speak to someone on the phone for any queries.
Anonymous
Overall a decent network. The main reason I stay with them is because I tend to get service, even in areas where the service for most other people is absent or very low. However, they have a tendency of overcharging people, particularly me which means I don't pay direct debit (making my contract more expensive - which is a joke). Asides this, they are pretty quick to resolve solutions and I find them MUCH better than EE. I don't feel as if I have many perks, compared to somewhere like 3.
Anonymous
It's one of the only service providers which has provided excellence through the years without fail. Any interruptions due to servicing in areas was prewarned in advance and kept all users well informed. Reliable and perfect worldwide.
Anonymous
Despite the well known issue with their data coverage at the start of the year (which they contacted customres about snd offered an extra 10% on top of next top up) they are pretty good. To me they seem resonably priced, but then again, I've never really 'window shopped' for the best deal so who knows.
Anonymous
Best company, o2 priority gives good discounts. Get service everywhere, both at home (city) and at university in the countryside.
Anonymous
Customer service is great, coverage is really good, fast internet and lasts a long time. Rarely had any network issues calls and texts go out straight away. Overall super happy
Anonymous
O2 Provide a fantastic network with great coverage nationwide. Their customer support team is great and very helpful. They also have O2 priority which is really useful for booking concert tickets and for getting free food and other goodies!
Anonymous
I got an amazing deal through Carphone Warehouse on O2. I've been with O2 for years however the deals were very expensive compared to Carphone Warehouse. I get unlimited texts and minutes with 30GB of data for £38 a month which is the best deal i've ever had! I also still get to use my O2 priority which has some good deals on time to time! Especially a free drink at cafe Nero every week on either a Tuesday or Wednesday!
Anonymous
Customer service is great, very understanding and helpful with every experience I have had over the last 15 years.
Anonymous
Good quality coverage apart from in my home village where it is extremely limited, which could be improved
Anonymous
Good service and good coverage. Would recommend as it is highly flexible too. Deals starting from just £10 with a no fuss cancellation fee
Anonymous
Although the customer service is excellent when you are in the store this is not the case over the phone. I was due an upgrade but didn't want to get a new phone. I was hassled and bothered 3 times a day, everyday, by the customer assistants although I told them not to bother me again. Ignoring this I love being with o2. There are always deals available and I have never lost internet connection or service. Equally, the amount I pay for my phone and contract a month is excellent. I never have to top up on data and I get an unlimited amount of texts and calls for only £24 a month (+£24 a month for the phone).
Anonymous
The customer service that I received was brilliant however, my coverage when I live is shocking I have to try and arrange to take phone calls elsewhere it is that bad. O2 priority is good but I haven't managed to win anything yet. I think the overall cost of my contract is good considering I practically have unlimited data.
Anonymous
Used to be with them for 10 years, none of the add ons in the world can make up for their terrible data prices.
Anonymous
O2 provides excellent customer service. Any issues I have had have been dealt with quickly and professionally. Coverage is generally very good in the North East where I am situated. O2 priority is a great additional perk. I currently pay £20 per month.
Anonymous
Great customer service. Easy to get hold of someone from O2 to answer any questions and the bills are always really clear which is great. Also, I love O2 priorities as I get lots of freebies and discounts.
Anonymous
I have been on o2 for years and their service is brilliant. The ability to chat online whenever I have a query is really useful as sometimes I can be in locations where I don't wish to speak aloud. The service is quick and prompt. Their coverage over the UK and the rest of the world allows me to connect to 4G whenever needed at a good connection speed.
Anonymous
O2 have some of the best call reception and 4G range I've ever experienced. The rewards system on o2 priority is good, however it used to amazing with much more offers than they offer now.
Anonymous
Good amount of internet and fairly fast. Enjoy the priority moments and get free stuff and discounts with it
Anonymous
Good deal, Every 2 year I get a new phone and a new contract price which is usually reasonable depending. O2 priority is also a benefit as it gives customers the chance ( priority ) for things such as tickets etc.
Anonymous
The package I receive is incredibly good value for money, paying under £20 a month for my brand new iPhone 8 and then another £30 for my data (which is attached to my father's account and this gives me my own 25gb of data to use). The only problem I seem to have is a lack of coverage at my student accommodation in Sheffield.
Anonymous
When at my home town the coverage is great however when at university there is still great signal bars but despite the 4G being on it doesn't allow me to use the internet while at uni so I have to keep factory resetting my network settings.
Anonymous
Really good customer service in store, and great service / WiFi connection in hotspots but do not upgrade over the phone with them! I asked to be put on O2 refresh so that when I paid off my phone plan, my tariff would go down to just paying for the sim - the guy I spoke to on the phone said that he had done it and he hadn't so for the last few months I've paid off my phone and yet am still paying over £50 a month for a MISERABLE amount of data that I run out of within 2 weeks!
Anonymous
I switched to O2 fairly recently and enjoyed my in store experience I had with them when moving my contracts as they offered more benefits on offer to me when I move abroad for my intercalating year of university. Also when I had my phone stolen they were quick and attentive in helping and sending me a new sim. My main critisism is that when I got my new sim they forgot to lift the block on data on my phone so I went a series of weeks with no data despite paying for it which was not ideal however they interacted well and resolved the situation in a satisfactory manner.
Anonymous
I love o2 and i'll Probably never switch providers. Their customer service and network coverage is the best and I always make use of O2 priority tickets and offers. I love going to gigs at the o2 and going into the VIP o2 customer area where there's a swanky bar. Just the coolest brand. Only downfall is when abroad the data price can be expensive such as UAE and Indonesia where I often go. But apart from my contract is dirt cheap and I've just kept my phone from my last contract with them, insurance still valid and everything!!
Anonymous
I have a 24 month plan with O2, and they've been outstanding so far! I'm paying a reasonable rate for great service, signal, customer support, and the O2 perks (like cheaper gig tickets, or fast pass queues)!
Anonymous
Got a good deal at the moment with unlimited calls and texts and plenty of mobile data which comes in handy when being on the move all the time, overall satisfied with the service I am provided.
Anonymous
Have been using O2 for a while with multiple phones and never had a problem with them. Easy to get in contact with them if there are any issues, their app makes it easy to see how much data you have left and O2 Priority is great for getting early gig tickets and money off meals out.
Anonymous
I've been with O2 for about 6 years and I've never wanted to swap to another network. They never usually have any problems however when they do they always fix it as soon as possible and compensate the problem, would recommend to anyone
Anonymous
O2 has always provided a good network service. They're international roaming rates are free in Europe and reasonable elsewhere. Only minor complaint would be when they're network shut down but they got it back up and running within 48 hours so I didn't lose too much from that.
Anonymous
I feel that o2 are exceptional providers of mobile coverage. The signal is always great no matter where you are and there are plenty of perks associated with having a plan with o2. The 30gb plan is very very reasonably priced and coverage when travelling Europe is no worse. Information regarding my plan, upgrade opportunities and bill dates are all very easy to access via the well designed app available in the App Store for Apple. I am extremely satisfied with my mobile phone provider and would highly recommend o2 to anyone looking for outstanding service and coverage.
Anonymous
Despite the temporary problems with the network, loss of 3G etc., the services provided by O2 is good. Global roaming at no extra cost and O2 priority offering extra goodies makes it a overall good deal. Have offers on pay monthly so that more data can be obtained for a similar price.
Anonymous
Getting the phone from the store was nice and easy, the customer assistant was friendly and helpful. O2 network is great sometimes however it's not so good other times. There's o2 priority however, I have never or known anyone that has ever won anything on it.
Anonymous
O2's customer service is second to none, having always fully rectified and compensated its users for any issue they may face. Service is always really good and the perks of O2 priority make this service provider an obvious choice
Anonymous
Shocking customer service. Bad phone service, bad deals on phones. Would not recommend this company to anyone other than for O2 priority.
Anonymous
this is great the signal is always brill great deal for what i've got too and o2 priority is great always getting free stuff all the time
Anonymous
The o2 priority app is really good with fantastic benefits. Mobile coverage is very good, however can be slightly slow/ limited in more remote areas. The cost of the contract is slightly on the expensive side, but overall I am happy with my mobile provider.
Anonymous
Always good signal anywhere I go. Have the O2 priority app which is always giving you add discount / freebies on a range products.
Anonymous
The coverage is good, good 4G in most places. However what is annoying is the constant calls about upgrading when actually I bought the phone out right from apple so I wouldn't want to upgrade. The deals with o2 priority are not as good as they used to be
Anonymous
Good customer service, good coverage, but a little expensive. Been pleased with o2 far and would probably recommend if asked.
Anonymous
I have a contract of unlimited minutes, texts and 15GB of data. It is good value for money and fulfills all my usage needs. I am happy with their abroad policy, with costs not being too expensive.
Anonymous
Good quality cover and good price for phone plan. Also good that they do student discount as this is a big help.
Anonymous
The plan is cheaper than some and the signal is good in most places. The 02 priority app can be beneficial at times, especially as I go to a lot of gigs and make use of the early release tickets and queue jumps when there.
Anonymous
Very good value for money although more data could be made available especially if you let out and about regularly.
Anonymous
Whenever I've had a problem, the help I have received is amazing. Everything is so easy and so quick. One thing i would change is the pricing, sometimes it can be a little too expensive. The network strength is pretty good most of the time, so I have that many complaints.
Anonymous
I get 15 g of data which is more than enough for my needs and use and get unlimited texts and calls which is useful too even tho I don't use that much Very easy to sort out
Anonymous
Customer service really good when needed to solve problems with my phone only down side is when I've used 5mb of data it seems to go slower and connection can be poor in some places.
Anonymous
Really easy to access account being able to change and pay for you're contract through an app. Allowing you to monitor you're usage. When problems do arise they are quick to contact and have resolved issues really quickly.
Anonymous
Customer service is good when I have had issues with my bills. Signal is fairly good in places where previously I have had no signal with other providers.
Anonymous
02 is an extremely reliable mobile netwrok provider. They have great customer service, and as a customer i have had no problems with them. They deal with any issues promtly and are extremely helpful. They offer the best deals and always. keep me updated. i would definitely recommend them to anyone who is looking for a good and reliable mobile network provider.
Anonymous
Cost of contract is good for the phone and the plan, adequate amount of data given. The coverage provided is good, however, there are some places that I don't get coverage in the city which is frustrating.
Anonymous
O2 has very good customer service, when not able to pay the phone bill, they are very understanding and help try find an alternative, same as help buying a new phone and repairs. I am happy with the service, they should keep it up and also do some more offers.
Anonymous
I have had numerous O2 contracts. I find I always have signal and their apps and customer service are fantastic. Perhaps some offers between 3gb of data and 15/30gb data would be good.
Anonymous
I have an iPhone 6 and am using o2 as my service provider. I am very happy with the contract I have. I pay around £20 a month and get plenty of calls and texts, as well as 10GB of data. I also frequently use the o2 priority app and believe this to be a huge bonus of using o2. I have found the customer service to be helpful, although I have not had enough issues to really comment on customer service.
Anonymous
Fantastic service from all areas. Customer service is flawless, the coverage is extensive and I have had very few problems with this provider - in fact, I don't think I intend to change
Anonymous
i am on a contract where I can upgrade my phone like every 2 years, I get unlimited calls, unlimited texts and like 4G of data... when I was paying my monthly bill for my Iphone6S it was such a reasonable price! £21.50 a month for all that plus the phone but since I've upgraded to the 7 it's now £49.73.... it's went up ALOT
Anonymous
Great customer service, i never have problems with coverage! Perks are great like first dibs on concert tickets before they get released to the public
Anonymous
I am pleased with O2 as I enjoy the O2 Priority moments app- especially the free Café Nero coffee!! I think the internet is very fast and I'm always able to get a phone signal no matter where I am
Anonymous
The customer service is helpful, the waiting times on calls are short, great coverage on the phone, decent price for plan, high quality and sturdy phones showcased.
Anonymous
I get a very good deal for the price I pay monthly. I never go over my allowance of mobile data per month. So I don't need to worry about any extra fees. However I do not get any perks or I do not get notified of any perks that I have with being with O2. I updated my contract last year with O2 and it was so simple. I went in to my local O2 store and the staff had the best deal for me in under 5 minutes. I also travel a lot and I can use my mobile data in selected countries for no extra charge. However there are some courses in Europe that are not on the selected list and the prices for daily coverage are quite high.
Anonymous
I would rate this Network provider (O2) as 3 stars when it comes on signalling problems. I always have problem on signal specially when I'm Going home on my moms House in Countryside even my other phone who have other network provider have signal.
Anonymous
Overall I am happy with my mobile provider, however there are countless areas throughout the UK where I am left without signal where other providers such as BT Mobile or EE do have signal. This can be very frustrating at times.
Anonymous
Overall O2 are a good company to be with regarding value for money however sometimes the customer service is very difficult and packages can be very unclear in regards to when your package is renewed etc.
Anonymous
Unlimited calls and texts and 20gb of data for a reasonable price of £20, always solve problems quickly and great service and 4g coverage.
Anonymous
I love it so much! My iPhone XR is amazing and I'm so glad I made the choice to stay with o2. The customer service is exceptional and everyone was extremely helpful
Anonymous
Whenever I have contacted the customer services they have always been helpful and straight to the point to resolve issues quickly. The coverage in my area isn't the best as signal drops when on the phone, might be due to location instead of anything else though. O2 Priority is a good bonus with being on O2, however, there isn't as many deals on there that are suited to me - maybe for other people though. My contract is £10 a month for 2GB data, 3000 texts and 300 minutes. I never use up all this so it's the perfect plan for me.
Anonymous
Love being with 02. It's been the cheapest costing contract I have had for years after being with a different provider. Perks such as 02 priorities is a great addition to have as well - competitions and discount are great. Never had any issues with bad signal and customer service has always been fast and efficient.
Anonymous
The service Lyca provides is very good. I have never had issues with signals or my data plan. The customer service is also very good. They also have the best student plans for international students. I would recommend Lyca to every student.
Anonymous
I've always been with O2 and there have been minimal issues with the network itself but it can be quite pricey. It's a little bit annoying that there's no loyalty scheme or anything because I've been paying them £30-£57 a month for the last 10 years or so. O2 perks are really good, if you check O2 priority frequently enough you can get yourself some really good deals and priority tickets.
Anonymous
So far I have had no issues with O2. I love the O2 priority and have taken advantage of a few of the perks available. The App is easy to navigate and the service seems to be fine althought the 4G is sometimes slow. Only problems I have had is when they had nationwide outages but they have offered compensation for it.
Anonymous
Great service everytime i contact customer care. Better part are the perks yiu get with O2 priority.
Anonymous
The most reliable network ever. I enjoy data roaming 4G wherever I go with the fastest connection I could ask for! Easy to set up, the O2 assistants helped me choose the right plan specifically for me, cant beat it! Thanks O2.
Anonymous
Excellent value for money. Love having O2 Priority which gives out loads of freebies and the chance to enter competitions. Great signal quality too.
Anonymous
Brilliant service from o2, never normally get signal at home but never have a problem now. Great price too.
Anonymous
Too expensive and signal not all that great. Doesn't cover countries like turkey in he plan. Alright customer service
Anonymous
I've never had a problem with it. For £25 I get unlimited text and calls and 49 GB of data. The data lasts me the whole month and I've never had a problem with payment
Anonymous
The customer service at O2 is brilliant. Any issues I've had have been resolved quickly. Everyone I have dealt with has been very personable and helpful. The offers through O2 priority are amazing and I often use it to get concert tickets early.
Anonymous
Data can be slow to connect to sometimes and doesn't always work however tends to fix itself. App is useful to navigate and always getting sent the best deals. In store gurus are friendly and are always able to help with what needs doing.
Anonymous
Customer service was great, they'd only call me to update me if I could switch to a cheaper plan for the same usage/texts/etc, cancellation at the end of my time on the mainland was really easy and convenient to do (unlike EE which have removed the option from their website and demand you write a written letter). The benefits of being on O2 Priority are so worth it! I got put to the front of the queue at so many gigs over the 3 years I had an O2 contract, and collected so many free things from retailers, or used £1 meal deals. Definitely outweighs any benefits of other providers. International roaming when I went home to Jersey was easy to set up and I wasn't charged for data usage.
Anonymous
Although I have always been a big fan of o2 in regards to price and the o2 priority deals I can receive, both me and other people I know on o2 have been finding over the last few months that the signal strength within Liverpool is very dodgy and can flicker from full signal to one bar within a few metres. I am currrently on o2 as it was the best provider price wise to get a new phone but as soon as my contract runs out I will be sure to move to a cheaper sim only package.
Anonymous
I've been with O2 forever, and never experienced any significant problems. I've kept the same phone number for about 9 years and O2 have been helpful with switching my phone number to my new phone everytime which is really useful. The coverage O2 offers as well has always been great, rarely get no service.
Anonymous
O2 is the best network provider that I have ever been with! Cheap prices and a fast network. My phone bill is cheap enough for me to afford but I still get all the data, texts and minutes that I need. I would highly recommend O2 to anybody who is starting up a new contact or is transferring to another network
Anonymous
I get very good coverage in most places, unless I am surrounded by tall buildings I get none. And then when surrounded by lots of people, for example when I am in town I get no service at all. I have always had very good customer service
Anonymous
I have a one plus 6 mobile and the price and quality of the service i have been provided is brilliant. I had my iPhone stolen and didn't want to buy another expensive phone so was recommended this device and the phone itself is brilliant and not that expensive. 02 gave me an amazing price on the sim only contract and this was supported by 5GB extra free internet which is very helpful as i use internet a lot.
Anonymous
O2 is a very good provider although I do not feel it is quite as good as EE with its 4G services, I do however like the O2 priority app and the benefits it provides
Anonymous
Only 1 Outage in 4 years. Many benefits, reasonable price and range reaches most places, haven't lost signal completely yet. Can't fault it at all.
Anonymous
Great service with lots of coverage and additional perks with O2 Priority offers. Any time I have had an issue customer service have been very helpful.
Anonymous
Great customer service when I joined and needed my old number transferred. Consistently great signal and 4g availability. Have used O2 priority moments fairly often; there are also rarely some free goods! Is relatively expensive, however (although I got a good deal on Black Friday).
Anonymous
Love that I get unlimited messages and minutes, really convenient not having to keep track of what I've used- plus being able to phone home at uni without guilt of going over.
Anonymous
Customer service is always good Coverage is usually okay but could be better The price is expensive per month
Anonymous
Having various hotspots available in different areas, is a good advantage. The app provides discounts and other benifots for members with O2.
Anonymous
Quite good customer service, coverage and o2 priority give away free things which is cool. I wouldn't change to any other provider.
Anonymous
I get regular calls and texts about inclusive o2 priority deals and perks of being with the company. My package is good and 4G is good 90% of the time, also I rarely don't have signal which is very useful.
Anonymous
I think this is a very good service because it is good at giving you deals at not a height price. There coverage if pretty good except in Devon
Anonymous
Customer service was helpful when I changed my data plan half way through a month and was charged for going over my limit (previously was on an unlimited plan and changed to limited) when I thought it would only be applied the next month. I paid the excess but it was deducted from the next bill.
Anonymous
The customer service I received was very good , I felt the contract variety given to me were well explained and I had multiple choices of which contract plan to choose.
Anonymous
I have been using o2 as my network provider for couple years now and I really didn't seem to have an issue with them. They offered me discount on pay monthly bill as loyalty reward and there are other perks in o2 priority itself. It has good coverage especially o2 WiFi in underground's.
Anonymous
I currently have the iPhone 7+, the phone is amazing, love the camera and the sleek look of the phone. My only complaint with o2 would have to be the network coverage. I'm usually the person in a group who is struggling to connect to WiFi or use my 4G and again usually the only person on o2! Whether I am in London, Coventry or Birmingham the connection can be poor. I pay around £60 a month which is not the best for a student, but I wasn't ready to buy the phone outright and I also have a deal where i get an extra 5GB each month making my data 20GB! This is amazing when it works and I have connection, I never finish my data even though I am on social media, using Citymapper or google maps constantly. I've been with o2 for over 6 years so still going strong! Whenever I go abroad, I may have trouble initially finding a provider I can connect too, but once I do it's perfectly fine. Only issue I ever had was in Malta and my phone was useless, I am assuming there was no network compatiable!
Anonymous
Customer Service never fail to impress me as they're always helpful and are always available to help me with any issues in my contract! However, I find that the signal overall can be quite disappointing in some areas of the UK.
Anonymous
Good deal at £40 a month for a large sum of data however newer phones with the same amount of data cost the same amount and my phone is quite old
Anonymous
Service is mostly alright. Except the day when there was no data coverage. Very reasonable price for the plan
Anonymous
I have enjoyed using 02 network and would recommend it to anybody thinking of joining. I got a samsung s9 (which is very new phone) and a great tariff plan that included 30gb of data which is the allowance I use the most of, and it was at a bargain price. The coverage is great and I almost always get 4g. Overall my experience with O2 has been great.
Anonymous
Love the perks that they give, especially for concerts and tickets. The coverage is broad though there are still a few places it does reach. Abroad the roaming works fine and never had a problem for the whole two weeks holiday.
Anonymous
O2 has always been my network provider and overall I am very happy with their service. It has the best coverage in rural areas where I live but I have to say that the signal still isn't that strong. I love that O2 customers can get discounts and freebies with O2 Priority, which is a perk that not all mobile providers offer! You can get free coffee, discounted concert tickets and so much more. In my opinion, O2 give you the best value for money with their contract plans, however their Pay as You Go plan options definitely needs improving - it just isn't worth it for me. Another great feature of O2 is that you aren't charged roaming tariffs when using your phone abroad!
Anonymous
Great company with great offers for smartphone pay monthly contracts which allow you to change the amount you are paying and offering you anything from 1 month contacts to 36 month which can bring the price of your contract down alot.
Anonymous
Data coverage isn't the best. Also, poor how there was a day with no 4g at all. Value for money is good especially with my contract.
Anonymous
Excellent coverage even in rural areas. Great perks through the O2 priority app, some of the discounts/freebies worth switching to O2 for alone! Only issue is while the 4G coverage is good, often 3G or lower signals do not work at all.
Anonymous
The customer service that I have received when I've needed it has been very good. They did however say they would call me back regarding an issue and they did not so I had to make the contact with them which made the issue take longer to resolve.

Great service , data and whenever I call O2 customer service, they calmly assist me and in a friendly manner. I love O2 priority too.

The o2 priority is what originally drew me to o2 and the fact that at the time o2 was thw cheapest company out there offering the phone and bundle I wanted. I've had no problems with them in the near 2 years I've been with them even after the technical issues they had last month they still managed to sort it out relatively quickly and are working on compensating customers.

O2 comes up slightly more expensive than its counterparts, however there are added perks which to me make it worth it. Early access to O2 academy gigs, deals, discounts and freebies on O2 priority and the best coverage I've ever had. They are very transparent with their pricing and bolt ons are easy to add if needed.

Coverage ok but in rural areas very hit and miss. Don't do anything to improve coverage in rural areas. Customer service is okay if you manage to get someone who understands the tech world and knows the business if not they aren't great,

It is really good, and is very affordable. I like that it let's me know when I have to top up my phone. I also like that I can put how much money I want onto it.

I have generally found the signal coverage to be very good and the O2 priority app has very good rewards, treats, prize draws and offers. In store staff are always very friendly, helpful and provide a very good level of service.

02 has something called 02 priority which legs you have access to tickets and events before anyone else. It's super handy and you also get freebies from them, I get a free coffee once a week from them.

Never had any problems with o2. Service is great and works in most places. O2 prioroty is also a fantastic part of what they offer, especially for early release tickets.
Anonymous
The deal is so convincing you pay £34 for a 16 GB. The customer service is excellent and the support time so friendly. They try the best to give the win win deal.
Anonymous
It's okay. It's difficult tibtop up recently as the automated system is difficult to quickly add money to your account. Otherwise the coverage is fine just over priced

Great service with plenty of perks and benefits like O2 priority. Abroad roaming is also excellent whereby a standard rate can be paid per day allowing for you to roam as you would in the UK.

Great quality of 4g service... but only when it decides to work! I've had problems with the network in many different areas and sometimes it won't connect to the 4g signal unless it's been used right after having a broadband connection. Not the best service I've had but got a good deal. Just wished it would of worked.

Customer service has always been great. Assistance available whenever pretty much. Generally great service and connection however in certain areas my phone does struggle to pick up signal. Overall very satisfied!

The best part of being on O2 is the prioity. The free coffee every week is such a good perk, however their service could be improved.

Overall I am happy with my contract with O2. I've been with them for around 12 years and have only recently considered changing. My main issue with O2 is the price--they are noticeably more expensive than other network providers. If I were to change provider, then it would be for this reason. Their coverage is solid and reliable.

Helpful customer service, great connection and great perks such as O2 priority. Although it's pricier than some, it's worth the money!

On average I receive a good coverage through this network. O2 priority is a great advantage for those who watch a lot of concerts. They always send notifications when my bill is due and it's easy to add extra data on when needed. Includes a lot of areas in the European zone making it free to use your phone while on holiday in multiple places.

It's great that I can have a really cheap plan as a student and top up whenever I want to. My coverage is overall pretty amazing, getting good signal pretty much anywhere.
Anonymous
Perks were very good, and made the cost of the contract seem very cheap at the beginning of the contract, until black Friday hit, in this instance could now be better. Coverage is good, 4G in most places and customer service have been better than other providers when needed.

O2 priority offers good deals but would be nice if there were more deals. It is great that you can get access to pre-sale tickets for concerts at O2 venues. The customer service have always been really nice and helpful. However, a lack of communication or accurate information can be an issue though as despite asking for the conditions of calling abroad I was not given full information about it and ended up being charged over £30 extra and I had to pay it. There was the problem of which everyone's data went down for a day which was a bit worrying as if one is in a situation with no wifi and thus really reliant on data which then does not work, then that becomes a concern.

Service coverage is mostly brilliant. I get great signal across the country with the dead spots being few and far between. The 4G coverage is slightly worse but still very good. However, there has been more than one occasion recently where the internet has been down for over 12 hours at a time. Customer Service is second to none and always helpful. The O2 benefits are great such as priority tickets and a free coffee every week too! Overall the best service in my opinion!

Overall Im slightly satisfied with the service provided by O2. On internation scale the roaming is not working, and sometimes they charge me double when topping up my sim card.

Always receive great customer service when looking at purchasing a new contract and also if I have any problems once I have set up the contract, great network really reliable
Anonymous
overall i get decent service but there are many areas were data coverage is poor. customer service however is good and the staff are always helpful.
Anonymous
Very good network coverage and top notch customer service. Fantastic contract deals offered especially around black Friday.

I have never had any trouble contacting Customer Support and have always found O2's coverage to be good. Extra benefits such as bolt-ons are reasonable and O2 Priority is genuinely an amazing feature.

o2 have always been very helpful whenever i have had an issue, the my o2 app lets me keep an eye on my data uses and any charges i may receive and keeps me on top of my billing. when it came to the end of my contract it was very easy to upgrade and change everything from one phone over to another Having o2 priority has been a nice bonus, i use the deals weekly e.g free coffee from cafe nero and nice perks if you enjoy going to concerts.

Great service provider. Easy to use and whenever I've had a problem I contact them through their customer service chat and the issue is resolved instantly or within 3-5 days. It is great value for money in terms of the terms of the contract. They offer a breakdown of your current tariff in order to gauge whether the contract that you are on is the optimum one in terms of data usage. Furthermore, they reward customer's loyalty by offering upgrades to either your contract tariff or your phone. 10 out of 10.

Excellent coverage - I can get signal and data more than my previous network, especially in difficult areas and the WiFi calling is much more reliable
Anonymous
Coverage when I first moved into the Crosby area was terrible but I have seen it gradually improve. I think it's great that I can use my phone when travelling around Europe at no extra cost. Sometimes they are friendly and useful on the phone but I have some times where they haven't got a clue. I recently used their online chat to retrieve proof of purchase for my phone insurance and they were very good and helpful

3G occasionally goes, but besides that it has decent perks on o2 priority, like early release tickets and prize draws for holidays

I have used O2 for the past 7 years and I have no reasons to change. They offer great perks, such as free WiFi and O2 priority. They also have an easy to use app, which allows me to track my data, bills and bolt-ons, such as data for travelling abroad. I called them when I was due for an upgrade and received a much better deal than was advertised online, as competitor prices were cheaper. Therefore, I recurved great customer service as a loyal customer. Coverage is great, except for in some rural areas; but there have been many times where I've had signal and my friends/family have not. I have also travelled abroad to America and Europe and coverage has remained good!

I've tried other networks and I always come back to O2. Great coverage, good customer service, and I love the ability to upgrade early by paying off the remainder of the contract.
Anonymous
Ee has better customer service. Coverage is about the same and deals are slightly better with O2. Shame O2 no longer do the meal deals on a Monday!
Anonymous
The signal and coverage is overall good although it could be a little faster, but the main thing is how expensive the contracts are and also customer loyalty benefits aren't amazing.
Anonymous
Decent service. Poor signal in busy outdoor events whereas other service providers seem to work better. Offers on O2 priority are okay.
Anonymous
The best pay as you go deals on the market, with the best network availability. Top up process could also be not any more easier!
Anonymous
Great price through friends and family discount and generated great coverage etc. Only downside was the recent issue with signal/data but have been contacted by O2 with info about compensation so can't knock customer service so far.
Anonymous
I like the perks of the priority moments - although so many people use them that they run out quickly. The signal coverage is very good. The plan I'm on is good value for money although it could be cheaper somewhere else, they don't have so many offers for their customers. The only bad experience I have is with roaming - I never get internet access even though I click roaming and mobile data on etc.Advisors have tried to help but they said there is a glitch and can't fix

I have been an o2 customer for over 10years and in that time I have seen the network improve . I 99%of the time have full coverage even when in the countryside and if there are any network problems o2 are usually quick to sort them out ,only once I have been without coverage of any kind and that was this month when there was a problem and this was for one day . I find the 10% rewards back every 3 months a good perk to have but am finding the offers in o2 priority have gone down hill and haven't used any in a while now . Overall I find o2 a good network that is value for money only sim only deal .
Anonymous
Quite a good service but not as good as price offered in comparison to other rivals such as larger rivals as EE. The coverage is quite good although to achieve the perks of accessing free wifi, it is mandatorily requred for o2 customers to top up recently to be able to access free wifi especially in london.
Anonymous
Happy with the service at O2. O2Prioritytickets is something I always use. In addition, I love O2 priority, you can get free weekly coffees or 20% different shops.
Anonymous
O2 has served me very well. My contract ends in a couple months and it is going quite well. Sometimes the network is a little slow though.

Customer service at the Barnstaple store is excellent. Helpful and knowledgeable staff with a friendly demeanour. Network unfortunately isn't great in the area so I can't recommend for local residents.
